Well sort of ... probably more apricot, but them's the breaks ;)

I started with the Henley tank in Melon from SWA [NA]. I miss Sioxie:( And the new Exile Aroha hair in Marone. And then I got lost. Leggings are from M*A*ii*K*I in Orange. On my feet are the Female Bollywood Shoes from Adam n Eve that we all have in our Library. Liane is a new skin from Adam n Eve that I am enjoying.[R] Poses are new from /GEEZ/ [R]-- yes she's back and making nice poses too!

Call it melocot, aprilon, whatever... I declare this week done!

/GEEZ/ Does Jazz Dance!

I know other folks have blogged the /GEEZ/ Jazz Dance set, but I wanted to add my two bits. As a former dancer, these are very fine dance poses indeed.

Otherwise I'm wearing the MichaMi DSN gift of Carmela Bustier in Pink, along with the Second Wave Apparel Perfect Fit Capris in Pinkstripe and the Francoise Flats in Purple from Shiny Things.

But the attention should be on the joyous poses that capture so well the energy of jazz dance!

SALE at SWA!

The talented Sioxie Legend has put some selected summer items on SALE, including her always wonderful capris and those amazing new Ruffled Tops. Look for the SALE signs throughout the store.

I've blogged her capris before, but somehow I had not bought the pink striped ones and look how well they go with the Lilac Ruffled Shirt, which I now own in a few colors, but not enough yet!

Shoe-Be-Do!!

Noena's last post piqued my interest about the Shoe Fair being held right now. So off I went with my SL "bro,"Daaneth Kivioq. We were ostensibly hunting down goodies for his sweetie, but we got sidetracked by these beauties.


I had eyed the Detour Mixflip Sneakers in their main store, but was {censored} if I was going to pay L$350 for a pair of sneakers, no matter how marvelous. But when I hit the fair, I justified my expenditure by muttering to myself that at least I wasn't buying the L$600 ones sold at FNkY!. There are a number of patterns available in the Mixflips, but there was never any question -- it was going to be the Pink Hearts for me!

Daaneth's response to the Akeyo Chucks in Flame was succinct-- "I WANT" And so he got them. They resize by clicking them, pretty cool. Mine came in small, medium and large.

Here I am wearing my Mixflips with ETD Vintage Capris and SWA's Pink Plaid Camisole. Skin is Fleur Shoujo Florence in Lotus. Hair is ETD Patricia in Strawberry.

I guess I'll have to go back to look at the elegant shoes LOL

When one is not enough!

At the moment Second Wave Apparel still has the newish camis and capris on sale for L$25 and L$45 respectively. No saying how long Sioxie will leave these beauties at this price, so hop on over to Plush Omicron and help yourself. I did!

On the left is the cami in Hawaiian Blue with the blue stars cami. On the right is the pink plaid cami with the pink mini-dots capris. The textures and detail in all are super :)

I'm wearing ETD's new Hampton Platform shoes, on the left in steel blue. on the right in black I think, although charcoal would do as well:) . Hair is ETD's Jasmine in strawberry burnt and my skin is Fleur Marni 2 in buff. I was so excited to share these with you that I forgot to put on jewelry LOL.

My reference is to the name of one of Sioxie Legend's super tops, "Garbo," seen here in three of its variations. Its silky drapes and plunging back make it a modest, yet sexy, top to wear for a special event. Sometimes showing less IS more:)


I have paired it with the skirt from Last Call's Bass dress [discontinued unfortunately]. On the left I'm wearing ETD's Orsay stilettos in red. [I think Elika's shoes are wonderful -- next time get out of the hair section if you can and take a look!] In the center photo I am wearing LAQUE in black by Storm Schmooz -- on the right ETD Orsay again, this time in navy blue. Jewelry in all three photos is Violet Voltaire's new Angel set in silver/black. Hair is ETD's Shanna in caramel burnt. Skin is Fleur's new Shoujo 3 skin in lily.

Sunlight & Sioxie

Just when winter's dawn seems the coldest a content creator reminds us that summer's warmth, at least in Phil's Place, is just a system shirt and pants away:) I've enjoyed many of Sioxie Legend's Second Wave Apparel creations, even giving the wonderful SWA silk pants as Christmas presents to my female friends. But the minute I saw her new camis and capris the question was, simply, which ones?


I opted for the capris in "sunwashed" [see first paragraph for the reason ;)] and the cami in "tropical hibiscus." This was only one of many wonderful combinations from the options available at her Plush Omicron store. I had to wait my turn as others cycled through the options, but *finally* they were MINE. And I might add at a very reasonable price.

The formfitting capris are nicely detailed, as is the cami with its lush pattern and perfect lace at the neck back and front. Other credits are below, but I have to mention Violet Voltaire's new jewelry set Angel, full of crystal hearts and primmy delight. It comes in four stone colors and 2 metal colors, of which I have already purchased two LOL. I'm wearing the silver/black combo here. Violet isn't a prolific creator, but what she does is very wonderful indeed!

Before the season gets away!

I thought I should post what I've been wearing around the grid, in the Christmas spirit ;). The freebie frenzy was nice while it lasted, but to be honest, after a couple of rounds I only went to a few of my favorite places in order to avoid further inventory bloat. For a small avi I have a BIG inventory [most of it ETD hair of course ;)] and waiting for it to load is trying my patience! [Time to find a quiet island and do some serious pruning and sorting.]

Okay -- The pants and the hair are NOT from the Christmas rush. They are SWA's silk pants in red [I must have them in every color by now LOL] and ETD's new style "Emily", a current favorite of mine, in caramel.

Starting at the top -- the antlers are from Callie Cline, given to me by a friend for Christmas. Second Mirage provided the Christmas tree earrings for free next to their advent calendar :) The green sweater was a group gift from Persona. The necklace was a L$ 15 holiday special from JCNY and the boots-- SIGH -- are the Ziggy ones from Tesla -- amazingly cute and, despite the high heel very wearable.

I did acquire more "loot" than this, but there is a limit to an avi's attachment points LOL. So as we head for [hopefully] a safe and sane New Years let's give a huge HURRAH to all the content creators who made out holiday shopping much more fun!
