Two ways with Lila

For the whole of June 5th & Oxford have out an exclusive colour of their new underwear at Copley Square.

Lila in peach is again testament to the creative perfection of Roslin and CJ. A satin slip with garters, beautifully crafted and textured. Looks so soft that you could touch it. Matching knickers and two shades of stockings complete this retro set. Again, choice and variation in the fact that loads of layers are available to wear.

Here are 2 ways of wearing this wonderful lingerie…

In the top picture I decided to go very retro. I am wearing the matching stockings to keep it simple. Again PXL Creations Grace skin graces my avatar, the hair is from JetDoll and includes the flower.

In the bottom picture my good friend Samara went more contemporary. She wore the contrasting stockings paired with Kitty Lair’s Vintage Heels in gold. Her skin is from La Sylphide and hair from Tiny Bird. Simple jewellery from Alienbear. A modern twist to this classic underwear.

The *ICING* on the Cake!

One result of being unemployed and not able to spend my lindens so freely has the need to explore my inventory for forgotten gems. I saw the notice for the ICING sale and as I was searching for the landmark I came across Passion Flower, which I popped on as I *am* a "Passionate Redhead." So off I went to the sale, and, in my new thrift, only fell for one, Tradewinds, which I had admired for a while. One of the reasons the poses are sideways and the same side is that I wanted to show off the seashells in the Tiny Bird hair :) Also the backs of the dresses are as well done as the fronts. In both dresses Miko Omegamu's skill at shape and texture are evident.

Sometimes the best laid plans of bloggers go pffftt when an new item strays across your field of vision. The minute I saw the Kungler Jackie dress I KNEW I wanted to use it in a mash-up with my fave Soft Black Leather Pants from Ibizarre. Then the ICoN BC earrings and bangles were an obvious choice as were the Kitty's Lair Tease peep toes in white. My hair is one of Mouse Mimistrobell's 3 first hair releases at Dark Mouse. They are all lovely, but Katina in Dark Red just seemed right along with the Tuli Meredith Captivating Copper skin in Light.

Hence "To the Top" pushed another ready-to-go image down the pipeline a bit :)

An outfit to "Adore"

Sometimes outfits begin in a serendipitous way. I had bought the +plus Adorable Brown Snake Belt, which I had seen on Ana Lutetia's blog and when I searched for it in my inventory, this top came up, called Adorable, by laurine Brown. I have no idea where I found it, but I'm glad it survived my sporadic inventory purges as it suited the outfit nicely :).




The pattern on the belt and the color & texture of the top set off nicely Mouse Mimistrobell's DM Spheres in Peridot. I included the closeup so you could see the detail on the earrings and necklace.

I'm wearing Truth's Ivy in Carrot and the second of my two Soda custom skins. My slacks are the Sable Velvet Pants from Love Chic, while my shoes are the Tease Peep Toe Pumps in Gold from Kitty's Lair. I have these in 5 colors and I may need more ;)

Versatility Rules!

Having shown you the Whippet & Buck highwaisted skirt in Green Pea with the new Anoorea blouse from Michami I was led to see what else I could wear it with.


And here's the result :)
