Pay It Forward :: SySy Chapman

One of the nicest people in SL is SySy Chapman. She is a talented creator, but I'm not blogging her just for that. She is one of the kindest, warmest avatars I know on the grid. And life hasn't always been easy for her either. So here's to SySy--may you be blessed with happiness!

Having walked around the FFL sims over a period of a few days it was so tempting to buy a lot of things. However, budget dictated I moderate my spending so I decided to purchase two items that stood out for me…well the second purchase was a few things that pulled the main thing all together.

The blue of sYs shop attracted me to enter and it didn’t disappoint. Having looked around I was drawn to the PULSAR cat suit and then dilemma hit as to which colour to get. Eventually I bought the black and then added the Sound glasses and the YSIS skin to complete the look. A shiny, latex, skin-tight cat suit with designs and ‘buttons’ highlighting this creators talent makes for a stunning head turner. The blue of the buttons is picked up in the lipstick of the skin and the visor of the sound glasses (although the hair I chose hides the sound glasses as a whole). Griddle provided a fun hair to wear with this cat suit and I used SCHMIDT boots to complete the sci-fi look.

Eshi’s shop is always a wonder to walk around, like being in a candy store but for high fashion. The Opium cat suit is a complete outfit with headdress, jacket and boots. I felt like a walking flower having the whole outfit on but it also felt great to wear it. Mind you, not something you would wear down your local high street. A black, leather looking catsuit highlighted with swirls and blue spheres can stand alone when worn with just the boots. The textures are just gorgeous. Then when you add the jacket and the headdress the whole effect just blows you away. The shoulders, collar and skirt of the jacket are like wild petal folds of red and black with blue flecks echoing the cat suit. The hat is a flower, with wonderful texture and details. This is a work of art. To do the outfit justice I paired it with Glam Affairs Nina V-Day skin and Truths Tanya hair. I am not sure where or if I will wear this but I do just love it.

For my money SySy is one of the grid's underrated creators. Her dresses are always smooth to the touch with a nice mix of elegant and minxy:)


First up is NOELLE, which I am wearing in Green. It's a lovely system skirt with a wider prim skirt at the bottom. The bodice is "held up" by thin straps that are nicely detailed.


Next is LuLu which was a holiday gift in red. The modest row of small buttons leads down to a deliciously poofy skirt.

In both shots I am wearing a past TDR hair from BOON, Donna Flora earrings, the Taylor skin from Adam n Eve, Maitreya Gold IXkin in Pearl. On my wrist is the new Sorella cuff from :: MOOD ::

Two by Two

Since I've been a very bad blogger™ I have a Noah's Ark of backlogs. So until it's cleared up a bit I'll be posting 2 looks at a time, hopefully with some connection. The connection this time is the new Tiny Bird Postcards from Italy hair in Copper, it's chic, flirty and has some lovely flexi bits.


My top is the upper part of the :NuDoLu: La barboteuse rose outfit. The rest of it is beautiful also, but I also thought it would just make a nice blouson top over my trusty W&B Stein shorts in Finch. I'm wearing the TOMBOY Sneakies in Spring Plaid. These are an inexpensive sneaker option available on Callie Cline's sim. My skin is L.Fauna's new Lapine Series in Mystical/Pale 2 WITH FRECKLES. Last, but not least.. another old favorite, []::Tuli::[] wooden heart necklace green/amber. I've had it for years and it is always the one I call on when I want a natural looking necklace for an outfit.



On the glam side here's SySy's new Ruby Jumpsuit in Gold. I'm not wearing the leg prims and I did have to mod the belt a bit to fit my avatar, but it was worth it. It's a very soft texture, finished off with the wonderful tie belt. AND a sexy laced up back with a little tie. Shoes are Adam n Eve's Babii in Amber. Earrings are Amida in Gold from Mandala. And the skin *sigh* is the new Claire from La Sylphide. It is the Gold makeup in Light
