52 PERIWINKLE

After having used the same skirt twice in service of 2 blue posts I was tearing out my pixel hair by the roots, until Anessa Stine of DCNY dropped her new Linen Tunic on me and the color included "Sky". PHEW! The primmy bits edited easily and voilà, "periwinkle." The Denim Vintage Capris I am wearing are from ETD and no longer available, but I thought the texture worked well with Anessa's tunic. Further down are the TomBoy Sneakies in Blue. I love these because they come in a tied and untied version, from long before scripts did all that work for us.

Two by Two

Since I've been a very bad blogger™ I have a Noah's Ark of backlogs. So until it's cleared up a bit I'll be posting 2 looks at a time, hopefully with some connection. The connection this time is the new Tiny Bird Postcards from Italy hair in Copper, it's chic, flirty and has some lovely flexi bits.


My top is the upper part of the :NuDoLu: La barboteuse rose outfit. The rest of it is beautiful also, but I also thought it would just make a nice blouson top over my trusty W&B Stein shorts in Finch. I'm wearing the TOMBOY Sneakies in Spring Plaid. These are an inexpensive sneaker option available on Callie Cline's sim. My skin is L.Fauna's new Lapine Series in Mystical/Pale 2 WITH FRECKLES. Last, but not least.. another old favorite, []::Tuli::[] wooden heart necklace green/amber. I've had it for years and it is always the one I call on when I want a natural looking necklace for an outfit.



On the glam side here's SySy's new Ruby Jumpsuit in Gold. I'm not wearing the leg prims and I did have to mod the belt a bit to fit my avatar, but it was worth it. It's a very soft texture, finished off with the wonderful tie belt. AND a sexy laced up back with a little tie. Shoes are Adam n Eve's Babii in Amber. Earrings are Amida in Gold from Mandala. And the skin *sigh* is the new Claire from La Sylphide. It is the Gold makeup in Light

Jumping into Summer!

There a lot of great new summer clothes at Phil's Place, but I have always craved a little jumpsuit such as this one and when VG Republic made it in black, with a zipper from your "guggle to your zatch" [a prize will be given to the first person that correctly where that phrase is from] I was smitten. I bought without knowing about the heart on the back that says "Glamour Chick" so I am doubly smitten.

I bought the sneakers last year from TomBoy on the Callie Cline sim in red. They come is two sizes and laced and unlaced versions. I'm such a klutz even in Phil's Place that I chose laced LOL. BUT -- I was over there yesterday and could not find the store again :( [Again, a small prize to whomever helps me find it first :)]
