52 Indigo Times 2

Fury is away most of this week so she's asked me to blog for both of us:) Now Indigo is tricky. I've always thought of it as a very dark blue-violet or equally dark blue-green, verging on what might be called "inky." An inventory search coughed up very little labeled "indigo." But we both had MichaMi's Tori dress in INDIGO. So we decided that was it!


In additional to the very wonderful MichaMi dress, Fury isn't wearing much else. But here's what she is wearing. [Maybe she'll teach me how to do shadows soon....]

In addition to the dress I am wearing the Tights-Semi Sheer in Indigo along with Shiny Things party Pumps in Purple. My necklace is from Frippery -- the Ocean Lullabye one being sold at the Extend a Helping Hand event running through Feb. 8. Hair is Grazia in Copper from Truth and my skin is Adam & Eve's Taylor in Blush Natural. Poses are from *Glitterati*.

Extending a Helping Hand: Queensland Flood Relief

I know we get buried in events raising money to support various worthy causes, but Extending a Helping Hand for Queensland Flood Relief is special. It runs through February 8th at the Adien sim. It includes a wide variety of high quality designs, by creators world-wide, including Australians. Many are donating 100% of the proceeds to the flood victims.

I am showing only 3 items from the event. They are the Ocean Lullabye from ET-Frippery, the *RRS* Rose River Saloon Urbanite Oceana Limited Edition boots and Whippet & Bucket Queensland Party Frock in Rose. All 3 are beautiful and well-made designs. I was particularly taken with the boots, which showed much more detail when worn than in the vendor picture.

Your Taxi to Extending a Helping Hand.

Up to No Good

When I heard Mischief was closing its doors I just had to go over and take a look around before it went. As such I picked up a few items that caught my eye…two of which were the Sports socks and the Sport Shorties. OK, so I splurged on the fat packs, as I thought ideal for mixing and matching. When I wore these items I immediately thought of boxing, and me being me, set about to shoot as such.

These purchases coincided with Sam introducing me to eha. How could I resist such cute hair? I immediately teamed eha’s Sang hair with the shorts and socks.

The Pornstar Hi-Tops were a natural addition to the look I was trying to create and the only thing left were the gloves. I eventually found WIN Aver Instinct Boxing Gloves which were ideal.
Skin is PXL’s Grace and eyes are Miriels.

LoveLace, A Blog in Four Parts....One

I adore underwear…especially retro and/ or sexy. When I saw Lovelace were doing a 99L$ promotion I decided to get as many pieces as I could. Once there I realised there was also a sale on, how could I resist??


When I was deciding how to shoot all this wonderful lingerie I initally thought of the phone prop and poses from Glitterati, with the tag of 'Hanging on the Telephone'. However, when I saw Glitterati’s new Black Box I just had to have it and that it would be ideal for this shoot.

Pearls, Pearls, Poses & Pearls...

When I saw a couple of blogs featuring this joint venture of *SiSSi* string pearls and Glitterati poses I just knew I had to buy some. I am always on the look out for new, unusual poses, so these caught my eye.

I did go a little mad and buy the fat pack of each, as jewellery and poses are sold separately. Six poses each with their own set of pearls, when combining the two purchases. To accommodate the poses each set of pearls comes in 3 or 4 strings so that you can modify and link them to the size of your avatar. Having an Amazonian avatar, as Sam keeps reminding me, I tweaked a fair bit until I was happy. For this shoot, I even tinted them a dark grey to give a black pearl effect.

Now, yet again…I am going to sing the praises of a creator/designer. Having unpacked all 6 sets and organised them, I successfully tweaked 5 sets of the pearls. The sixth set I found to be ‘no modify’ which was very frustrating. I contacted Sissi String to gain advice. She in turn spent time and energy trying to correct what was, in all accounts, an inworld glitch. I believe 3 times she resent that set of pearls and twice the same outcome. Eventually she succeeded in sending a modify version and I got to play…lol.

Thank you Sissi for you help, time and patience. You are a star and I wish everyone were as kind and considerate as you were in replying to my query. Her customer service was outstanding.

These pearls and their poses are great fun and I just had to share them with you. Go get them now!
