50 Shades of Sexy, Discipline

 

 

Initial thoughts were to go with leather or latex but then thought softer and sexier....besides I adore this lingerie and it seemed like a good excuse to don it :)

52 Week Colour Challenge, Patina

Patina....never heard of it but quite like the colour.

I was totally uninspired though and if it were not for a certain inworld artist I would have stayed that way. I saw her work on Flickr and contacted her. Patricia answered immediately with the information I wanted. Thank you! If you follow my flickr link you will find a link to her work and what inspired me.

So, once inspired I went shopping...and had a vague deja vu moment in A.S.S. I remember collecting a gift there on a hunt and my memory served me well. Up popped the Noctis Bolero - peacock from A.S.S, just the right colour I believe. Its feather texturing is quite beautiful and very flambouyant. I shall find more occasions to wear it.

To make the bolero stand out I am wearing Crazys Sence overalls in black: A wonderfully textured bodysuit. My Bax boots had to go with the bodysuit, tinted entirely black...ideal.

Now just the skin, hair and eyes. The skin was my usual PXL Creations Candy skin. the hair is BP's Big Bomb 1 hair...for that funky look....and the eyes, my usual, are Miriels.

It needed something else...hmmm. I remember a fair, a few years back, that had ground breaking make up available on tattoo layers. The Little Bat had a small selection there and I picked up the Lilac & Teal tattoo. Perfect for that funky disco look.

Sneak Peek

When Sascha Frangilli of Sascha's Designs contacted me the other day I was a little suprised but then delighted when she asked me if I would like to blog some of her designs. I already have a few items, that I feel like showing in a later blog, so was happy to accept a sneak preview of her latest release.

The Izzy Collection was gifted to her group to celebrate 15,000 members. It will soon be on general release, along with mix and match items.

The collection consists of a very retro bobby socks 1950's skirt, a set of very tight, highwaisted pants and a high collared, v-necked shirt to top it all of with. I chose to show you the trousers as I felt it was more me. I love the silhouette this outfit gives me. From the neatly tucked in boots pants to the sweep of the shirt collar. I feel like I should be hunting on horseback or swashbuckling.

In addition to the plain pants there are flowered ones available in many colours. So, one can mix and match to ones heart content.

To top the outfit off I chose to wear SAS Top Hat with Feathers. The feathers are to die for, so beautiful.

52 Week Colour Challenge...Black

Black…my fav colour. This week it was a case of I don’t know what to wear as I have so many black clothes.

As I have been away from home for over a week I do realise this week is late and, as I am for an easy life, I decided to blog an outfit I wore to a fancy dress event a few weeks ago. It’s black, it’s convenient (have outfit folder with it in) and it’s a bit different.

I am blogging a Catwoman costume. Now, not the character/avi herself but Fury as Catwoman…it is me under the mask…lol. Am going to let the photo and the styling tell all. Sorry about the poster effect…I went a little mad on my first use of PS since I returned.

Black Magic II

OK, part II of this Nicky Ree blog fest. The other new release is the unisex DNR Night Magic Jacket Set.

This set includes trousers, both boot fitted and cut…again in this wonderful hand drawn texture. The jacket is more of a cloak, with a monstrous swathe of fabric topped off with a feather collar and shoulders. If that wasn’t enough then Nicky has also included another head dress of feathers, arranged Mohawk style. The design and creation of this set are stupendous.

Whether male or female you are certainly bound to be noticed wearing this jacket.

Black Magic I

I have had a week of not being very well and, as such, haven’t really logged inworld at all much. I did log in last week after Nicky dropped her new releases on me and I tried them on, loved them and then shot them quickly before I keeled over.

The first is the Night Magic Gown. A tremendous svelte dress and/or cat suit that includes its own headdress. Not only do the hand drawn gown and trouser textures meet Nicky Ree’s usual standards, it makes me think of reptiles and scales, but the feathers that line the gowns collar, sleeve and headdress are amazing. So amazing that I just want to reach out and stroke the feathers. Both gown and cat suit are a statement by themselves but with the headdress they become dramatic. I’ll let the pictures talk for themselves.

And, yes I know I look like something out of the Lost Boys crossed with Blade Runner but, hey, I love this look!

Cassy in China

As soon as I opened Nicky Ree’s Cassy outfit I knew was in love. It’s a winter warmer combination including both skirt and trousers with a woollen sweater. As usual a variety of layers and colours available allow you to mix and match this outfit. However, I like it simple and am wearing just the skirt option, all in black. A little severe but I adore it. The design and textures are beyond compare.

To keep with the severe I opted for my Bax2 Boots in black with a metal heel and zip detail. These matched perfectly.

Next…skin and hair. The skin I wanted on the pale side with a blaze of colour at the lips. Fleur Allure Kitten 3 in truffle fitted the bill with those cat eye lined eyes and a slightly deep red for the lips. For the hair I thought I would keep it short…but not too neat. Truth’s Evie in night was perfect.

My usual Miriel eyes and cake lashes finished the look off.

Can you Adam'n' Eve it?

What a fabulous corset and knickers…leather and zipped. This undies set by Adam n Eve is wonderful in both design and textures. Took me a while to unpack it but when I did I knew I wanted to blog it.

All I needed to compliment the Zip it Gorgeous were the boots I got for my rl birthday, inworld. Bax Prestige Boots Black Leather are perfect with their changeable zips I could match the underwear!
