Worth a Second Look ...

When Elika drops new ETD hair on her staff I always run into a corner to try it on. It is never "bad hair", but sometimes it just doesn't seem to suit me on first wearing, so it gathers dust in my inventory. But then, sometimes, for any number of reasons, it pops back up and WOW it works:) This was my experience with Camille which I am wearing in both pictures in this post. I can't tell you why it didn't "click" the first time, but it's clicking now! The other common elements in both images are the Polished Stone short necklace from Persona in tiger-eye, my custom skin from Soda Design and eyes from Bijou.



The Aoharu sculpted Drapery Dress was one I also dismissed when it was released. I was just sure that the sculpted prims wouldn't move well. But during the recent Aoharu sale the dress just begged to be taken home, so I did and I'm glad. It fits beautifully AND it wears well in motion. Shoes are Maitreya Verve in Brown.



My inner blonde made her appearance. My shoes and jeans are ETD. The shoes are Elika's Heel Strap Platforms that I wear regularly in Sunshine. The jeans are the silver ones. They aren't back out yet though:( I just love the texture on these. The camisole peeking out from under the Charcoal Wrap Sweater from Mojo, is the Simple Shimmer Tank from Cupcakes in Lemon.

Versatility Rules!

Having shown you the Whippet & Buck highwaisted skirt in Green Pea with the new Anoorea blouse from Michami I was led to see what else I could wear it with.


And here's the result :)

From left to right: Muism's Open Cotton Shirt in White, the top from Chic Boutique's Calypso Dress, The Campy Cable Knit in Purple from Ki2 and last, but not least, The Mojo Wrap Sweater in Magenta.

Shoes are from Stiletto Moody and Kitty's Lair. Bracelets from ~flirt~. Hair is Tiana in Burnt Auburn from ETD and skin is Barest Blush in Alto from Symphony Skins.

The W+B skirt comes in other colors, so imagine the wardrobe fun to be had here!

Scarves are the new ... um new something LOL

I just realized that I've been writing this blog for over a year and have actually done over 100 posts. Doesn't seem like that long or that much, except when inspiration doesn't strike. In this case I *am* going back to an earlier post found here. Please no laughing-that was my old graphics card.

Scarves have been running wild over the grid and, with the idea that two necks are better than one, I asked my good friend, Jaydie Sapeur, if she would join me in this post. Since I'm the one that gave her her first Ibizarre scarf I guess saying no was not an option ;)


I'm not exactly sure how I found the Ibizarre scarves. I think I was just checking out the store after having quickly bought the Norway Sweater earlier. Anyway once I saw the Bandanna Scarves at L$50 each and that they were TRANSFER, I bought a fistful to give to friends, among whom Jaydie was one of the first. The she went back and "scarfed" up a few more. Here's what she's wearing:

I am wearing an assortment of scarves. On the left Zaara's Kashmiri scarf in maroon. In the center smaller photos I am wearing some of my Ibizarre loot ... erm SCARVES and on the right I'm wearing Creamshop's linen stole in red. Tops are from Mojo, cigarette pants from Joanie by Michami, shoes are the free black Slinky Stilettos from Maitreya. Skin is Allure 2 in cinnamon from Fleur, earrings are from the (luc) Poisedon set.

I guess we are both ready to brave the cold!
