A Prelude to?

Polaire Aeghin has put all of her store, Prelude, on sale... there's talk of things being discontinued and something new on the horizon, but until then... I'm happy wearing the Bouquet Shirt in Green, with its sweet, but chic, flowers strewn on the front of the cardigan.

Then the question was what next? This winter I've been relying on a Sprawl oldie, back when it was Pushbutton Industries. It's *PBI* the Tweed in *ash*. Boots are Rea from Pixel Mode in Moss. Hair is Tiny Bird's new release, Love Love Love in Caramel for 50L Friday. My black undies peeking out are from Style Starts Here.

My skin is the about to be released "Brooke" from 5th & Oxford. I'm wearing Natural 5 in the Medium tone with freckles even! Brooke is a bit more edgy that Audrey and I like her:)

So here I am :)

Center: I'm one month old and I've rented my first apartment. But, obviously I haven't discovered prim hair yet ;)

Left: My first good skin, Sparse by Gala. ETD hair, but still the eyes I came with. And yes, I've *always* been a "bad avi."

Sometimes things just happen...

I have an embarrassing backlog of posts to do, but sometimes you end up in outfits that just blog so easily. Hence these two for a Sunday.



The first resulted from the perfect marriage of the !lamb Bang Bang Bob hairstyle in Butterfinger, still available for 50l Fridays through today and the Tuli Eva group gift skin in tone 3. Somehow the colors and textures just seemed to work. I love the slightly ragged edges in the hair, much more realistic than an even line. BTW Tuli's Eva, at least the gift one, has eyelashes on the skin. When well done, as these are, that is a real plus. Then the Dark MouseM Spheres in Peridot Necklace - Copper finished the look. I changed in MichaMi's Laila in Wine, as I'm not allowed to show you what's about to be new at MichaMi :)




The second outfit started with the Stitch top from Sweetest Goodbye, which I had seen on the feed. The question then became how to select the rest of the outfit. Violet Voltaire's No Love Lost set was easy. It shared that edginess that the top has. But black trousers just didn't work, nor did really brown ones either. So I am wearing the Isabeaux leather pants in brown [really a kind of greenish brown] from LF Fashion and some old Liah boots in Gunmetal for Jaywalk, alas no longer available. The hair is the new Eva from Exile in Auburn. It's a bit too ladylike for the rest of the outfit, but oh well :)

Designers United

Yes, I risked the lag at The Designers United shop/event….at least I rezzed everything for once, I know not why though…lol.

I thought I’d blog a couple of things I picked up, out the many….yeah, I love circus and Vaudeville…just call me a magpie…lol.

My first is Ohami’s Dorothy Corset and Mildred skirt. So pretty in detail, texture and colour; so delicate too. To me it screamed of ballet...so that’s the look I went for. Having bought the vintage mint corset I decided to use the gold ballet pumps by Slink and I used Slinks ballet poses that came with the fatpack.

My second it equus’s Prima Donna. This is pure circus…from the vibrant colours, gold and flame red, to the design of corset, handless gloves and scupty flower skirt that’s a short tutu with a long back. Again, I used Slinks ballet pumps, this time in red. I feel I should be flying on a trapeze in a big top. Absolutely a beautiful creation.

So, until I get more time…that’s it for now.
