A Prelude to?

Polaire Aeghin has put all of her store, Prelude, on sale... there's talk of things being discontinued and something new on the horizon, but until then... I'm happy wearing the Bouquet Shirt in Green, with its sweet, but chic, flowers strewn on the front of the cardigan.

Then the question was what next? This winter I've been relying on a Sprawl oldie, back when it was Pushbutton Industries. It's *PBI* the Tweed in *ash*. Boots are Rea from Pixel Mode in Moss. Hair is Tiny Bird's new release, Love Love Love in Caramel for 50L Friday. My black undies peeking out are from Style Starts Here.

My skin is the about to be released "Brooke" from 5th & Oxford. I'm wearing Natural 5 in the Medium tone with freckles even! Brooke is a bit more edgy that Audrey and I like her:)

Nice Newness and Some Not So New

When Estelle Parnell of Lost Dreams drops a new dress on me I've learned to scurry to a safe corner, unpack it and try it on, which is followed, more often than not, by happy sounds. Such was the case with her new Abbey, which I am wearing in Pink. It is a simple design, yet wonderful in movement. The flexi bits move beautifully, despite being an alpha pain in the a** to photograph. Finding a good necklace was hard as many "bumped" the chest prims and/or disappeared into the floaty bits. I finally settled on Alienbear Gupte's Teardrop set in Peach. Even so the teardrop of the necklace has tucked itself under the flutters. Hair is ETD's Tiana in Auburn Burnt, skin is Crurio Sugarplum with freckles in Lumine. Shoes are the new Satin Gladiators from Polina Kaestner, which I had on from the picture below. They worked so they stayed!

I'm wearing some older items from Style Starts Here in order to show off the new scarf and shoes from Polina Kaestner. The shoes are the Satin Gladiators in Beige worn also above. The scarf is one of the nicest I have seen on the grid. It is called Carre de soie and I'm wearing it in orange. It has that Parisian je ne sais quoi of a designer silk scarf that we all hanker after. Hair is Truth's Ivy in Apricot and my skin is Tuli Meredith Captivating Copper 3 in Pale. The SSH items are the Inked Jeans and the White Crossover Knot Top.

My poses are from AnnaH/StoRin, Luth, Analu, Flowey and [LAP] --thank you ladies for making me look less like a noob :)

Oh Michami!

You've gone and done it again. Laila is a lovely set of separates. With a low linden balance, and the likelihood that it could get lower, I could only afford one top, but I hope you will forgive me ;)

The Laila tops are semi-sheer, which given my modest nature, I dealt with by wearing a Style Starts Here black lace bra. I "faked" the pants by wearing the Ibizarre Soft Black Leather ones edited for boots with the Michami Joanie Cigarette Pants cuffs. So I AM Michami from head to toe -- I just cheated a bit in the middle.

Necklace is Tuli's Wooden Heart, Hair ETD Patricia in Arpicot Burnt. Shoes are ETD as well, the Kristin Booties in Emerald. My skin is ... drumroll please ... The New Fleur Shojo Valentine Pink skin in Azalea. Fleur has a Flickr contest on right now featuring the new Valentine's skins, so grab a couple, take those photos and ENTER!

Never too much of a good thing ;)

I normally don't blog every day, let alone twice a day, but with a snow day called at my college, and the opening of Simone's new sim, Style Starts Here, well why not?

Here I'm wearing 3 of the wonderfully detailed lingerie items that are the heart of SSH. From left to right: the Blue Floral Body Thong [L$ 150], the Green and White Lace Bra & Panties Set [only L$ 75 !!] and the Black Lacy Bra and Panty Set[L$ 100] . My picture doesn't show the wonderful cutouts on the Blue Floral Body Thong at all!

Hair is AJ from ETD -- from left to right: smoke, cinnamon & strawberry. Skin is Celestial Studios Fall-3 in champagne.

Ssshhhhh ... it's SSH

Simone Stern has been tantalizing her group members with whiffs of things to come. And yesterday we were allowed in to see what SSH stands for. And it is ... Style Starts Here. It's a wonderful build full of quality casual Simone designs for both men and women. Especially of note is the lingerie for the ladies AND most of the items are priced at L$ 100 or lower. There is also plenty for the guy in your SL at the same prices. Here's the slurl: Style Starts Here

My first two purchases were the SSH White Crossover Knot Top and the SSH - Inked Jeans [the pattern is a tribal one...], both of which were L$ 100 each. I've taken the pictures in front of one of my photos of the parkland at Chateau Chenonceau in France.

Hair is ETD AJ in Strawberry, the choker is a freebie from Canimal and the shoes are the Elana Sandals (silver - taupe) from Shoes Simply Shoes on sale for half price. The skin is Celestial Studios Fall-3 in champagne

Thank you Simone!
