Well this WAS supposed to be my Valentine's post, but it seems to be destined for later:)

I'm wearings Maitreya Mesh -- the Athena sweater in beige and the Leather Leggings in oil. From the past is the wonderful Whippet & Buck Repairs necklace in Onyx and silver. Shoes are the new mesh Gatsbys from Ingenue. Skin is an unreleased skin from A&E. Hair is from Clawtooth, called Be my Girl, indirectly the source of the post title.

It's never to late to tell the ones you love how much you care.

Two for Tuesday

Often I find myself ending up with two related outfits when I go hunting for what goes with what. I started out looking for white pants to go with Whippet & Buck's Claven top in Aubergine. Ended up in pants for the second shot, but stopped at the LeeZu Berlin skirt in White for the first. My reason for aubergine/white was the beautiful new hair flower and earrings, with gorgeous pearls from MOOD. I am also wearing Maitreya Gold Shanti shoes in Eggplant and elikatira's Details in White 05. Skin is PXL Creations Gaia in Natural and poses are by [LAP].


Then I found the House of Heart necklace [NA] that went with the aubergine, but didn't show up enough. So I combine 2 layers of the Claven top, Antique and Rose. Skin is again Gaia, hair is When the Seas Met in Blinding from Clawtooth. Pants are from Ingenue, Leslie in Tiffany and the shoes are from one 11, The Wanderer [NA] also from Ingenue. 52 NEON CARROT

Neon Carrot you say? Well here it is! [and not much else...] And yes, I have this carrot in my inventory. It was given to me by a dear carrot-eating rabbit avi friend of mine:)

52 OLIVE

I'm a day late because of the blogger outage, but here OLIVE is! And I've dug back into some unpublished images to bring you Ingenue's Falling Autumn in Harvest. Close enough! My Maitreya Mishima shoes match nicely I think. My earrings are from Primagine. I think they were for a special event, but you could check... Hair is from Adam n Eve. I'll get the name later. My skin in PXL Creations Candy [I think] in Natural, probably Bronze Lips. Be sure to try Hart's newest, Gaia--I'll be blogging her soon!

New Stuffs!

After a hectic Fall I've poked my pixel head above the waterline and lo and behold NEWNESS!

First up is NYC Shirt Dress which is new from the hands of sachi Vixen of Adam & Eve. As you can see I'm wearing it as a shirt;) It has a lovely stand-up collar and puffy sleeves and comes in other yummy colors as well. (This is lemon) My skin is also A&E's Taylor Natural Gold. Jeans are the highwaisted ones from Narwhal, hair is my fave from eha. Jewelry is the Carollin set from (luc) Fashion Jewelry. Poses from /GEEZ/. Background is the view from the Empire State building taken by a young friend of ours.


Everyone was raving about "mon tissu" the brainchild of well-known and respected designers, Emma Gilmour and Julliette Westerberg. Took me a while to get there, but folks were right. This is very beautifully done work at a fair price. I'm wearing the Joli beaded top in brown. And right here I have to say that the textures are amazing and that the sculpted prim skirt thingy is the best I've seen for wearability and matching.

I'm also wearing the MichaMi Laila trousers in Coffee AND my One Eleven indulgence, The Wanderer shoes in Brown Sugar from Ingenue. And, while digging through my mess of an inventory for jewelry I came across "Louhi" by Tekeli-li, which is usefully color-change.

Hair is from the, alas, defunct Amrita store. I saw it first on Cajsa Lillehook, who is very sick right now. So a shout-out to her to get well soon so I can get more ideas from your blog:) Poses are from Gesticulate. Skin is A&E's Taylor, again, in Natural Blush.

One Eleven, 1 Eleven, One 11

Anyway you spell it, it's EXPENSIVE. And tbh most of it isn't to my style or worth the price. My first two "nabs" are though, I think. elikatira's Season hair and the Ingenue Wander shoes.

Ivalde...Vintage

So sad to see Ivalde close...I have many pieces in my inventory that I wear often. Please excuse the poor editing, was a rush job...but i think it still shows the outfits.

The first is one of my all time favourites and I wear it often...Ivalde Gertie rose dress. It's retro, feminine and pretty. from the chiffon bust to the floral print bodice and skirt...the textures are just perfect. The flexi frill addition to the skirt makes the whole dress complete. I love wearing it.

I chose a Fleur skin, Ingenue hair and RiArnya wedges to compliment the ensemble.

My second is a new purchase from the Retrology shop...the Ivalde maud purple Edwardian gown. It is elegant and represents the period perfectly. Again the textures are outstanding, with a lace bust and sleeve, followed by the bodice and skirt in beautifully pleated material. The design is breathtaking..using both a system skirt and a sculpty one to give the Edwardian shape..so clever. The ribbon is the perfect touch to the the whole dress.

This time I chose a La Sylphide skin, ETD hair and AC shoes to complete the look.
