For me MOSS GREEN is yellower and darker than Luna's color example, so I went with that.

An inventory search revealed the Off-Shoulder Chiffon top in flowers/moss green from G Field. [a past group gift] and the leggings from MichaMi's Ida dress [marketplace only]. Hair is Fastball from Exile in Pyre. Skin is sachi's new Ariadne in Lemongrass Natural. Shoes were a desperate inventory grab and I'm not happy with them. [Stiletto Moody/Elegant Slingback in Rosegold]. Otherwise I'm liking the look.

52 KHAKI

WOOT! I'm actually posting this in the right week. *waits for everyone to pass out*

A search for Khaki didn't reveal much, but eventually I settled on the Chifone dress in Khaki, a gift from oyakin. I have to say that I am enamoured of the fluffy skirt. The "jools" are new, from Dark Mouse. They are called Dreaming of Camelot and the stones are colour-change. This "colour" is some sort of pale green that works well.

Hair is from elikatira, Details in White 05. And I am still wearing Liane from Adam n Eve with the Pinkade eyeshadow.

52 BRONZE

Bet you thought I had forgotten BRONZE. Newp! Here she is:) And yet another near nekkie blog post from us.

The details are short and sweet. The undies are the Bronze set from Chic Boutique, a store long gone:( [NA] The rest is Lamb's Opal in Carrot, Adam n Eve's Liane with Pinkade eyeshadow [R], and poses from GEEZ [R].

52 JAZZBERRY & 52 CHARTREUSE

Late again:( So here are both JAZZBERRY and CHARTREUSE.

For Jazzberry the centerpiece are the Thread Leaf Wings from Seven's Selection in Magenta. Other clothing items are the corset from Ivalde's stephani dress also in Magenta [R] and the Sunny Leggings in Magenta from Prelude. [NA-I think]. Hair is Exile's Glory in Cayenne/Roots. Skin is Liane-Natural with Pinkade Eyeshadow from Adam n Eve.



The only two items in my inventory labeled as "chartreuse" are these two. The dress in an old one from Celestial Studios, the Phoenix Sweater Dress. [NA] I remember IMing Starley and thanking her for the system skirt. The belt has been a useful one for me. The lace-trimmedcami and leggings came with the dress. The shoes are from Ingenue called Tallula. Skin is PXL Creations' Gaia with copper lips. Hair is, again, Exile's Glory in Cayenne/Roots.

Well sort of ... probably more apricot, but them's the breaks ;)

I started with the Henley tank in Melon from SWA [NA]. I miss Sioxie:( And the new Exile Aroha hair in Marone. And then I got lost. Leggings are from M*A*ii*K*I in Orange. On my feet are the Female Bollywood Shoes from Adam n Eve that we all have in our Library. Liane is a new skin from Adam n Eve that I am enjoying.[R] Poses are new from /GEEZ/ [R]-- yes she's back and making nice poses too!

Call it melocot, aprilon, whatever... I declare this week done!

I first met Geryn Sloane of GS Couture at The 2010 Clothing Fair, where I made her give me the dress off her back! Thus I am VERY pleased to be blogging one of her dresses from IFW10. It's called Chocolate Covered Cherry and, aside from making me hungry, I love its retro look and use of the system skirt. Jewelry was hard to find, but I chose Luc's Butterfly Frolic to tie together the Sea makeup [again PXL's Candy]. The blue picks up that tint in the dress I think.I'm also wearing the *eha hair again as well as Stiletto Moody shoes. See below for the details.

52 ELECTRIC LIME

I don't seem to have a lot of electric lime lying around, so when an inventory search hit on hya's Toxine Suite, it was a go. And it just got limier from there. The poses that came with the fruit worked better with bikinis, so I just rezzed some of /GEEZ/ naughty & nice and proceeded to play with the rotation. The sky setting is one of Torley Linden's funkier ones.

Boy am I behind. Color my face RED. I've known all week that I was blogging this outfit that I had taken earlier because it is echt-RED. But did that help nooooooooo... So here RED is. FINALLY.

I found the this outfit while" inspecting" an idling avatar at The Dressing Room Blue and ended up in two wonderful Japanese shops. I didn't like the blouse that came with the Kuri Style suit so I substituted this one from the second shop, **M+M**. The feathered bits are part of the suit. Boots are GOS Slouchy in Red. I'm wearing sachi's Taylor skin, which I'm still having trouble getting off my pixels, although Laurel is close behind.

52 EMERALD + New from IVALDE

Granted this is on the darker side of Emerald, but the shoot I planned was a disaster, sooooo...

Instead I celebrate Neferia Abel's large new release for her couture line, L'Abel. I'm wearing the Tyra dress in "emerald." [R] The textures on this dress, from the delicate smocking around the waist to the longer underskirt is both elegant and well done. This is just one of the new releases. I'll show you more tomorrow.

I confess. This pictures has been on my flicker for eons waiting to be blogged. It's Julie by Last Call [NA] and it's one of my earliest full price purchases from LC back when. We could also call this "the old quad post" as my skin is from Celestial Studios, Vogue Winter 2 in Champagne and my shoes and hair are from ETD. Julie is an outfit that I wear often, with the slouchy leg option.

New Sweater from Ivalde

I grabbed two of Ivalde's new Laida sweaters during the 24 hr 50% period, but it's a steal at the full price of L$80. The texture is both retro and sexy with the kind of detailing one expects from Ivalde. The best part is the primmy bit on the sweater at the bottom. I only had to move it down a little to have it work perfectly, even while moving. You'll need more than one of these!

52 SILVER

YAY! I'm actually posting in the right week:) I do have a lot of silver in my inventory, but the second I landed at TDR I saw the Baiastice_Lesley-White Xmas dress and knew that was IT. Only adjustment I made was to place the bow at the base of the long back scoop rather than its original poition on the neckline/front. This made it easier to wear the Platinum Spyraea Necklace & Earrings by Sue Stonebender. [NA]

I'm wearing the Gala Medium Gray skin I got in May 2007. It's also no longer available, but early Galas are to be treasured still. My hair elikatira's Rumor in White05 and Stiletto Moody Pinup Heels in Grey Patent Python thus completing SILVER. I'm pretty sure my poses are from /GEEZ/ [R]

New Stuffs!

After a hectic Fall I've poked my pixel head above the waterline and lo and behold NEWNESS!

First up is NYC Shirt Dress which is new from the hands of sachi Vixen of Adam & Eve. As you can see I'm wearing it as a shirt;) It has a lovely stand-up collar and puffy sleeves and comes in other yummy colors as well. (This is lemon) My skin is also A&E's Taylor Natural Gold. Jeans are the highwaisted ones from Narwhal, hair is my fave from eha. Jewelry is the Carollin set from (luc) Fashion Jewelry. Poses from /GEEZ/. Background is the view from the Empire State building taken by a young friend of ours.


Everyone was raving about "mon tissu" the brainchild of well-known and respected designers, Emma Gilmour and Julliette Westerberg. Took me a while to get there, but folks were right. This is very beautifully done work at a fair price. I'm wearing the Joli beaded top in brown. And right here I have to say that the textures are amazing and that the sculpted prim skirt thingy is the best I've seen for wearability and matching.

I'm also wearing the MichaMi Laila trousers in Coffee AND my One Eleven indulgence, The Wanderer shoes in Brown Sugar from Ingenue. And, while digging through my mess of an inventory for jewelry I came across "Louhi" by Tekeli-li, which is usefully color-change.

Hair is from the, alas, defunct Amrita store. I saw it first on Cajsa Lillehook, who is very sick right now. So a shout-out to her to get well soon so I can get more ideas from your blog:) Poses are from Gesticulate. Skin is A&E's Taylor, again, in Natural Blush.

One Eleven, 1 Eleven, One 11

Anyway you spell it, it's EXPENSIVE. And tbh most of it isn't to my style or worth the price. My first two "nabs" are though, I think. elikatira's Season hair and the Ingenue Wander shoes.

Sparkle & Sizzle: Primagine & Luxuria

Luxuria is 5th & Oxford's new line of elegant and beautifully detailed lingerie. Each is named after the avatar that suggested the style to Roslin. What better to pair them with than Primagine's new jewelry sets for the Jewelry Fair, running until October 17. With these sets I think Trixie Bumbo has moved to the front of the class in her skills and design. With all three I am wearing one of my favorite PXL Creations skins and Truth's Cameron, a great style for showing off jewels :)


First up is Cajsa, which I am showing in Red. [Each style comes is about 6 colors]. With the silky texture and cutouts that remain daring, but tasteful, Cajsa is a worthy partner for Primagine's Dragon's Flight set with its "wing" of silver and blood-red stones. Samara shoes in Wine from Adam n Eve finish the picture.

Caer is both ruffly and naughty. You can wear two layers to make it opaque, but why? The textures are elegant with a soft bow. The panties are simple, but again are marvelously textured. I'm wearing it in Blush. The jewels are Autumn from Primagine and the delicate beaded detail works well with the softness of Caer. Shoes are GField Ribbon Slingbacks in Salmon -- a great basic shoe to have around.



Last, but far from least is Alicia which I am wearing in Champagne. The textures are smooth except for the sweet little gathers under the breast. I chose Alicia to wear with Primagine's 7 stones as its quiet luminosity complements the lingerie textures nicely. Shoes are DeLa's Stella in Ecru.

The Hair Fair that is.

Running until September 19 on 4 sims it is an annual event that supports the worthwhile organization, Wigs for Kids. Since I'm under some RL pressure these days, this will be a bit more catalog-ey than I'd like and only covers a very few of the offerings. All of the styles cries out for their own "look", but I opted for just a top and an occasional change of skin.

Comments: I chose this bandanna because they took liberties with the basic shape and created something very wearable. While I always love Tiny Bird and Islands is no exception, I have never really given Damselfly a chance. And Kelani is a winner.

Comment: Teagan dropped a number of styles on me and I had a lot of fun trying them on and playing with the color change menus on Wasted Tiers. These styles in particular cried out for a creative photoshoot. Both are a collaboration between Teagan and Laynie.

IFW10: SWANSONG's Mirage and Wisp

Before the International Fashion Week 2010 I never realized that AtomicSparkle Skytower of Atomic Bambi had another brand, SWANSONG. Obviously I do now and am happy I have been introduced. She kindly made Wisp and Mirage available to me to show you.



Both dressed share a tight strapless bodice and a full skirt, but then they diverge. Wisp is a luxurious intricately wrapped and draped dress, while Mirage is softer and floaty with a more corset-type bodice. Both are beautiful and available in a number of colors. I'm showing Wisp in Lavender and Scarlet. Skin is PXL Creations' new Candy in Natural with red lips and Cateyes with pale lips. Hair is Love Soul's *023-A* in Auburn. Shoes for the Lavender are Vanessa by Lyra Muse, no longer available. Jewelry is the Diamond Vine Silver from Dex's Jewelry. For the Scarlet Wisp I'm wearing slingbacks in Rose & Gold from Stiletto Moody and the New Grazia necklace and earrings from Lucas Lameth.


I'm wearing Mirage in Mint Green and Nude. Unlike the sculpty skirt of Wisp which moves as a unit, this skirt is flexi and floats. The jagged edge works more softly that it looks in a static picture. Skin is PXL's Candy Cateyes/Pale Lips in Natural, shoes again by Lyra Muse. Jewelry is from Dark Mouse. the Vintage 50's Diamond Pearl Set. Hair is !lamb Bang Bang Bob in Rotten Carrot.
