Pia Meet Rhia :)

Milla Michinaga's new release for her MichiMi label is a both sporty and sexy dress called Rhia. When I saw an early draft I encouraged Milla to make a few of the Rhia colors match the Pia leggings. The black Pias work well with all the colors, but so do the colors as shown here in Aqua.

Also worthy of note is that Rhia comes with both a system skirt [which I am wearing] and a sculpty prim skirt in 4 sizes!

Hair is Tiny Bird's The Knife; Skin is Brooke Catty 6 in Medium. I wore Maitreya's ChiChi pumps both for the style and the color change options, which I used with the aqua. Earrings are [Baubles] Hole in the Moon w Stars earrings - Onyx Silver.

Lady in Red

Nicky Ree dresses are hot, hot, hot. This pre-release gown, Daphnaie, is currently on discount for group members, in the members room, until 12pm slt today (Sunday). At 1pm slt it will then go on general release in the main store.

The hand drawn textures, colours and design all make for a stunning gown. A gown that comes in many varieties… svelte, tailed, open front long skirt and full, bustled long skirt. It has a variety of attachments…sleeves, collars, headband and shoulder pieces to please anybodies fancy. Yet again Nicky has excelled herself in giving her customers choice, choice in how they want to wear it. Also choice in that she has provided a wealth of colours to choose from.

Cassy in China

As soon as I opened Nicky Ree’s Cassy outfit I knew was in love. It’s a winter warmer combination including both skirt and trousers with a woollen sweater. As usual a variety of layers and colours available allow you to mix and match this outfit. However, I like it simple and am wearing just the skirt option, all in black. A little severe but I adore it. The design and textures are beyond compare.

To keep with the severe I opted for my Bax2 Boots in black with a metal heel and zip detail. These matched perfectly.

Next…skin and hair. The skin I wanted on the pale side with a blaze of colour at the lips. Fleur Allure Kitten 3 in truffle fitted the bill with those cat eye lined eyes and a slightly deep red for the lips. For the hair I thought I would keep it short…but not too neat. Truth’s Evie in night was perfect.

My usual Miriel eyes and cake lashes finished the look off.

Brooke at Night

It started with Brooke, 5th & Oxfords new skin line. When I saw the Nightfall make-ups I just knew I had to go retro.

The heavily smoky eyelids are faded to a wonderful silver/white that keeps the eyes bright and wide. The lips, a luscious pillar-box red, highly glossed, just waiting to be kissed and the beauty mark, high on the left cheekbone, make this a fantastic make up. As usual, the body is as good as the face. Wonderful shading in all the important places means you wont be embarrassed to be seen naked. Overall, both body and make up make this a perfect skin. Brooke comes in 3 skin tone, 5 varieties types and 30 make ups in total.

After deciding to go retro, I needed to find an outfit. Lucky for me that I caught Azul’s weekend sale and bought Annie on a whim. I would normally buy anything like this but as soon as I saw it I just knew it would fit the bill. Shimmery green shorts and top, with just enough detail to make it interesting. The shorts’ sides are laddered with prim bows at the bottom. The cleavage on the top is sweeping and the back wide open. The prim sleeves are both wide and pretty.

I completed the look by wearing Stiletto Moody Bare Lauren and Curios Betty Boop hair.

Ta da…lol….1930’s It girl.

One good mashup deserves another :)

I was mashing something else with the So Many Styles skirt when I saw the Grandad Sweater from League on the feed and bought it in Ecru. I love the little pattern in the knit.I am wearing it in the buttoned version. My hair is the Haiti-benefiting Sasha in Ash Blond from Maitreya. The knit cap is color change through a drop down blue menu.

I custom ordered my skin through the Soda Design system. It continues to be one of my favorites after over a year. The necklace is the old Repairs necklace, now sold at Whippet & Buck, worn in silver and lapis. Shoes are Adam n Eve's Babii in Amber and the tights are from !Ohmai in concrete.




I went to **DP**yumyum with something else in mind, but waltzed out of there with the royal tartan skirt in brown. After a bit of resizing the next question was what to wear with it. I finally settled on the Armidi {Gisaci} Classic Cashmere Turtleneck in Beige.

The !Ohmai concrete leggings lasted from the previous outfit, but this time the shoes are Maitreya's Verve in Brown. Hair is the new Patrice from Truth in Copper. And the skin is one of the lovely 5th & Oxford Brooke skins in the medium tone. Necklace is from a Kungler outfit, Nadia.

Celestial!

The "celestial" in the blog title refers to Jori Watler's beautiful jewelry set for her alaMood brand, of the same name made for the Rezzable cyber couture fashion showcase called “2010 – The Future is Now”. The textures are superb, the script for fitting very helpful, the prims beautifully shaped to give the pieces the weight they need--all in all "celestial!"

I'm wearing one of fashion photographer, Zoe Demar's first dress creations for Niavi at the Alite Mall. Very simple, but the line and textures are classic and the skirt moves beautifully. It's called AYO Black Solid Cocktail Dress.

Maisie, Maisie, Tell me your Answer True!

MichaMi has moved from Muse to Glitter [limo below] and Milla has released some new goodies. Disclaimer, I'm the MichaMi store manager, but I wore Milla's clothes long before that, so I feel justified in saying that the Maisie top & leggings and Pia cutout leggings are up to her usual standards. I'm wearing the Maisie top in Red and the Pia leggings in Gold. As usual everything comes on every layer for the mix 'n' match maven.

Also newsworthy is that Aden is back. I am wearing Aden Autumn in Hazel. The scarf is color/pattern change via a drop down menu. Boots are the J's Ankle Boots in Sand. Skin is July Natural SpringPassion from PXL Creations. Earring are No Love Lost from Violet Voltaire. It is one of the sets currently on sale at her store for 50% off.
