Wrapped in Alice by Sn@tch

This is a blog about customer service and wonderful clothes. Firstly, I apologise to Ivey
Trawling one of the fashion feeds a couple of weeks ago, the Sn@tch sale caught my eye. One item in particular that made me think ‘I must have that’ was the Alice Wrap Top. So, I popped over to the Sn@tch mainstore and began to look for said top. Now, admittedly, I did start my search in the sales department but, wanting this top, I widened my search to the rest of the store and a satellite one. I went round the store about four times and I still couldn’t find it. I had one of those snow blind moments but with clothes…lol.
In desperation I sought help from Ivey Deschanel, genius creator behind Sn@tch. I asked her to point me in the right direction, thinking she might send me a landmark to the right vendor. Her response was immediate and, with kindness and generosity, she ensured my dilemma was resolved. I am very grateful to her and am very impressed with her customer service ethos. If only all creators were so.
OK…the clothes…the Alice Wrap top is a system piece with attachments, bow and princess sleeves, but it is oh so brilliant. A cropped wrap around top, which encompasses great design with wonderful texturing. It manages to be both sexy and classy in one go.
On my search for this top one of the Sn@tch new mesh releases kept me coming back to it. A simple silk mini skirt called Kyla. It has a slight Middle Eastern flavour to it with the ‘fringed’ skirt top but it’s simplicity is its strength.
Needless to say, with a range of colours available in all of Sn@tchs clothes folders I was able to pair up both the top and skirt nicely with each other. To preserve my modesty I donned a pair of *League* Itty Bitty Tangas. I am also wearing a pair of N-core ILLUSION XtremeHeels. The rest are my usual and listed below.

Sn@tch

I haven't been inworld much in the past few months and I don't intend to be back regularly anytime soon. Having said that, I did go shopping yesterday and bought a few goodies.

I started at Collabor88 and loved D!vas hair on sale there, the Asami. I bought both the Onyx pack and the limited edition pack, the Red amber pack. I love the options of the fringe, the bun and the pony tail. A fun look no matter how you wear it. I am wearing all options in both the second and thrid shots.

I also bought Glam Affairs skins, all three Amberly skins, whilst I was there and am sporting the Europa Frostbite 02 in my first shot. The frosty look to the skin and make up was just perfect to set off a purchase from the second shop I went to, Sn@tch.

I am a sucker for tasteful, knitted Christmas jumpers. This one from Sn@tch has outstanding textures and a variety of colours included to make most people happy.

In the second shot I am wearing Sn@tchs Mesh Glitter Slip in seafoam. A wonderfully made and prettily textured dress. I think this is one of my new favourite everyday dresses to wear.

In the last shot is another pretty dress from Sn@tch, the Seraphim Cocktail Dress in blue, mesh. Lace details make this feel a really dainty piece to wear.

Again, both dresses come in a variety of colours included with your purchase. Not only do you get great value for money but excellent quality too.

For the rest of what I am wearing pls see below.

52 Week Colour Challenge, Royal Purple

Royal Purple...I adore this colour.

When I knew which colour was this particular weeks challenge I dived into my inventory. However, I go distracted by a Sn@tch new release, the Bon Bon Dress. Imagine my delight as I remembered that you usually get all the colours in one purchase, well almost. The purple was in the 'dark' set of dresses but the 'pale' set appealed to me more, so what's a girl to do but get both. The Bon Bon is a strapless corset, laced at the back, top that sits above a real sweetie of a skirt. The skirt stands 'proud' at all times thanks the layers of material. Both design and texturing are genius. A versatile dress that can be both contemporary or retro....I couldn't resist going slightly baroque on the pale Bon Bon.

For the challenge, I went Tudor with a set of jewellery from Azuvah that is a little spikey. I love my SLink shoes so went with those, along with my PXL skin and Truth Tanya hair.

However, I wasnt happy with just plain make up so dug out my Kyoot eyeshadow and went and purchase a Black Liquid lipstick in royale matt (how appropriate).

For my flight of fancy Baroque moment, and as an excuse to showcase a paler clolour of the dress, I also purchased stockings from Sn@tch with floppy tops and bows. So pretty. I alos wore some baroque style shoes I picked up years ago and cannot find the creator for them. For my hair I wanted a hint of the powdered wig and chose a booN hair that hints of such. Fleur, who are no more provided the skin, Beck provided the choker, Kyoot the eyeshadow and Black Liquid the lipstick again.

52 Week Colour Challenge, Wenge

Wenge...never heard of it. However, having had it explained to me I do have some items of that colour.

I chose Sn@tch Athena top. I love the babydoll aspect of it and the floaty openess of it. A really lovely item of clothing. Plus sexy as Hell...lol

So, thinking sexy I thought of hotpants. Initially I wanted high waisted black hotpants to set off the top. Then, having tried several options from my inventory I settled on Vogues silver, sequined hotpants. All glittery and hot.

Of course, the next logical step was to sport Slinks mesh thigh high boots.

For once I changed my skin, I chose one of  Glam Affairs Castalia skins. The make up is heavy and smokey...a sultry look but still fresh looking. To top it all off I wanted a hairstyle with a heavy fringe, so I can shoot smouldering looks from under it, and [e] lasting hair fitted the bill.

The rest is listed below.

A Sultry Girl

A visit to Sn@tch resulted in me picking up the Sultry outfit, which included a bonanza of colours. A simple but pretty design; with a cropped, low neck lined top sporting the most wonderful frilly sleeve cuffs plus a mini system skirt with a cleverly matching prim attachment. This ensemble gives a multitude of colour mix and matches, meaning a ‘new’ outfit everyday.

I teamed Maitreya Gold Esprit shoes in pearl with it to give a neutral but matching addition.

Skin was Tuli’s Gina 01 from a long gone The Dressing Room collection: I wanted a tanned, confident look and this fitted the bill. My usual eyes, Miriel, and a hairdo bought a little while ago in a fatpack, fri.day’s Anna in Timid Brown.

The poses were a selection from Diesel Works recent release…Berrylicious.

Location was ::Rucott::, embryo (119, 132, 29)

We are not ourselves today (Part II)

It all started when my good friend, Jaydie Sapeur, and I thought it would be funny to attend the ETD Staff Meeting in each other's shape to see if anyone would notice.

They did eventually, but what we learned is that your AO, skin choice and other style preferences are a large part of being recognized as the avi you are. We were *finally* "outed" when a colleague noticed that I was as tall as her now LOL

Anyway here's me as "Jaydie Sapeur." She is such an elegant and *cough* nicely endowed lady :) Because I'm a lazy avi I'm wearing my outfit from my previous Sn@tch post. So to see Jaydie as ME and read her wonderful post you can wander over HERE.

Sn@tchable Goodies!

I'm liking the Pose Challenge from Achariya's Pose Challenge as there is no rule that says you can't post more than once :) So today I am featuring Ivey Deschanel's poses from her store, Sn@tach, now on sale for the measly amount of L$17 each. I'm not sure how much longer that will last, so best to sn@tach them up while you can!

Sn@tch's poses are a bit edgier and unusual than some other poses I have. Since the poses are numbered I don't feel the need to label them as I did with the poses from {flowey}. The full set does include 29 poses, of which Iam showing the requested 5 :)

To show off these versatile poses I am wearing:

Hair: Maaliyah in Auburn Burnt from ETD
Skin: custom skin from Soda
Necklace/Earrings: Melancholy in Violet from Violet Voltaire
Top: Trixie Cami in Wisteria from Celestial Studios.
Jacket: Slink Tie Front Shirt in white
Pants: Persona's Itaparica in brown
Shoes: Heel Strap Platforms in Orchid from ETD

Stella Redux

I just could resist another "take" on Michami's new Stella. I found the perfect shade in the Sn@tch scarf that changes textures, as well as in the Kitties Lair Anita shoes in brown. Switched to Tyra in Crimson. The rest remains the same :)

DelEmma's Seaglass Jewelry an Expo Must!

My ETD colleague, Emmanuelle LaFollette, dropped the new Seaglass Sets on me last week and I was too d**n busy to even look. So imagine my delight when I found their booth at the Jewelry Expo [Thanks again Miriel!] and there it was and I said hmmmmm ... I think I have that already. And lo and behold I did!

I'm wearing the Seaglass set in the Mediterranean colors. The others are Atlantic, Baffin Bay and North Sea. The colors and textures are marvelous, having the dull luster of actual seaglass. My photos don't show the wonderful way the necklace lies on the neck. There are two bracelets, once of which is visible at the far left. It's a lovely additional to my wardrobe. Thanks Emm and Del :)

I'm wearing ETD Shari in Auburn Burnt. I modified the barrettes to complement the jewelry. My top is one of the Cashmere Sweaters from Sn@tch in Aqua. Skin is one of the Fleur Boutique Parfait Deux in Strawberry.
