Mix and Match

5th & Oxford’s upcoming new release is called Jori. The clothes consist as wonderful separates that you can mix and match colour wise. A great idea and the colours are just perfect for Spring.The blouse is a simple sleeveless, buttoned affair with the option of a detailing ruffle. The skirt, a high and wide waisted, that flares out to mid thigh level. Very pretty and versatile.

As usual the eye to detail and design is beautiful, the colours are muted but pretty and the textures, folds and creases, just perfect.

These separates are clothes I would be happy to wear everyday and its going to be hard to get them off my pixels :).

Sexy Silks

I felt like a change when dressing for my work with Nicky Ree. So, I went through all my Nicky Ree outfits and decided on the DNR Galatea collection. I chose to wear the silks from this set. Having worn them instore, many customers came over wearing them or changing into the same silks…was nice not to feel so bare alone :)

Then I made a promise to a good friend of mine to send them a shot of me wearing them. So having taken shots of this wonderful outfit I then thought to blog it.

These silks are truly beautiful…the sheerness and depth of colour to the silks are wonderful. The design is fantastic. The addition of the coral details an inspiration. The whole ensemble makes one feel truly feminine and beautiful. It inspired a few choice comments from my partner, who definitely enjoyed me wearing them.

This collection includes so many different options…from silks to evening gown…it’s a great addition to any avatars wardrobe.

LoveLace, A Blog in Four Parts....One

I adore underwear…especially retro and/ or sexy. When I saw Lovelace were doing a 99L$ promotion I decided to get as many pieces as I could. Once there I realised there was also a sale on, how could I resist??


When I was deciding how to shoot all this wonderful lingerie I initally thought of the phone prop and poses from Glitterati, with the tag of 'Hanging on the Telephone'. However, when I saw Glitterati’s new Black Box I just had to have it and that it would be ideal for this shoot.

Black Peacock

I had been invited to an exhibition opening on Friday night, GMT, and was struggling to dress under inworld laggy conditions. However, after a relog and a bit of inventory searching I put together the look you see above, which I was pleasantly delighted with.

For such events I tend to wear cocktail dresses and last night I was in the mood for black. I tried a few dresses and rediscovered the Orage Creations Black Peacock Dress. Simple in its execution yet stunning with its finish. A simple shift dress with the narrowest of pencil skirts is crowned by a black feather collar that makes this dress unique.

For such a dress only Slinks Sydney Stilettos would do, with their steel, impossibly narrow, sky scraping heels.

A simple skin I thought would compliment this look so I chose the elegant Grace Nude Lips skin from PXL. Beautiful to say the least. The hair needed to be blonde so as not to be lost in the feathers. After much trying on I settled for the dramatic Ghost hair from !lamb.

I pondered on jewels for a while before looking at my Miriel platinum eyes I decided to go over the top with the eyelashes to make the final dramatic statement this look needed. I finally settled on [glow] studio’s Rhapsody, paint splash eyelashes.

I need another excuse to wear this ensemble…anybody help out????
