Adam n Eve: Head to Toe...

Just a quick post to show off sachi Vixen's new Jasmine skin and Damen Gorilla's new Carla boots both from Adam n Eve. Both are well worth your time in demo-ing. And buying :)

Slave to Suede

This outfit sort of snuck up on me by surprise…lol.

I saw Ibizarre promote her first boots on the fashion feed and being a slave to suede I went straight over there. The only problem was which colour to choose. I reverted to type and bought black. The Ibizarre Winter Suede Boots comes in three boot types…plain, buckled and buckled with fur…all included in the one price. I tried all three types on and as autumn has befallen us here I thought I would have more use from the fur ones. The boots have an amazing suede texture that makes you want to reach out and touch it. The design is simple and classical. Now it was a case of finding the right outfit(s) to wear them with.

A few days later DeLa released the Oversized sweater "Lita". Again, stuck for choice on colour I made the unusual decision to buy the fat pack that included the black. Having unpacked only the black and tried it on, it only needed a little tweaking of prims to sit right. The jumper is long, it can be worn alone as a mini dress. The whole feel is of comfort and warmth. The textures are incredible, the knit inviting to be scrunched.

It was a few days later when I was inworld again and thinking about what to wear out and about that it occurred to me to pair the two purchases up. Simple, elegant and, with the sweaters plunging neckline, sexy too. Having sweater and boots on I needed a necklace, I chose -EARTHTONES- Carollin, Necklace Silver/Snow. Everything else is my normal everyday attire.

Now I feel ready for the onslaught of Winter.

Spanish summer

Hi hi! I've been quiet for a few weeks, first due to holidays, and then due to having to catch up with work after those days off... (Life is hard!) At least the holidays gave me a break from this cruel, hot weather, but now I'm right back into it, and it doesn't look like getting better for at least a month. As you will understand, with these temperatures we have in Spain, I'm not really looking forward to getting dressed, so I've been this close to doing a bikinis post (and maybe skins) but then Fury was faster... clever girl! So, I tried to put together something light, cool and summery, that I would very much wear to combat the Spanish summer in style.


The dress is the Silk organza dress from Armidi Gisaci - which I first saw on Autumn Hykova (owner of Tiny Bird) on her Flickr, and I instantly fell in love with it, so I did not hesitate to ask. Hers was in a darker plum colour, but the fabrics are so incredibly light that I thought a light shade would be the most appropriate choice here. So I picked immaculate white for the challenge to make it look non-bridal. With that purpose, I put the accent on non-discreet accessorizing, with bright colours that totally speak of summer - yellow and orange. The shoes are the Saturday flats from Shiny Things, in the shade so aptly called sun. The necklace is an oldie, the Han Hana Bead Necklace by Earthtones (now Luc), and the bangles and earrings are part of the Melange set by Zaara, in this case in yellow.

The hair you've seen me blog before, it's Sehra in cranberry by Truth, with the yellow flower - I just can't get enough of it, it goes well with pretty much everything and it totally screams of summer, plus the textures... (sighs) This man is a genius. The skin is also by a genius, and I think it's safe to say I'm madly in love with it - it's still Tuli's Hope in natural. But let me share something: today I made up my mind and went off to Journey to get myself the whole Hope fatpack. Concentrating this much love on just one skin can't be healthy, so I decided I have to share it with the whole 10 makeups!! (cuddles the pack)

Wowie in Kau'i!

Last evening there was a smashing party at Seven, Ultra Lounge to celebrate the re-branding of Lucas Lameth's Earthtones to the epynonomous (luc). I was fortunate enough to be invited to attend, along with a Who's Who of SL fashion. The DJ was duckyfresh Watanabe. I'd never been to Seven, and I must say I was impressed by the ambiance.


So what did this small avi wear? I did try for low ARC with middling success. In the end it was the boon 75 hair in Mat that did me in LOL. I wanted an outfit that would go well with the Silver Kau'i set I had bought at the closing sale for Earthtones, so, after an inventory rifle, I selected Shai Delacroix's Roche in gray with Alligator slacks in olive. Shoes are Zhao's Sadie, bought on sale. My skin is an old Gala "Gray" in Medium that is still available at the Alady store.

Odelia on my Mind!

When I saw Persona's Odelia on the fashion feed I was SURE that I wanted one of the butterflies, but when I got to the store .... the green leaves came home with me ;)


Myllie Writer of Persona goes from strength to strength. I remember visiting her first store and getting the then freebies, but over a period of time I have acquired a lovely range of her designs.

These dresses are nigh perfect. The skirt prims fit straight off -- the criss-cross back straps are absolutely unexpected and well done. And there are 3 hem patterns in 3 colors each! At a very reasonable price too!

I'm wearing Periquita's SueShoos in Green, Dotted Pantyhose from *Sheer*, Earthtones Grazia necklace in Everglade/Gold, ETD's Patricia in Auburn Burnt and Fleur's Limited Edition Emma RFL 3. I believe in giving credit where credit is due! I loved Milla Michinaga's new Bustiers, but couldn't think how to wear them, and Grazia helped me out HERE. Grazia was wearing our Fleur belts -- can we say d'oh! So off I went and bought my Bustier in Coffee!


The next question was which of the endless supply of yummy Fleur belts to use. I then remembered one of Kat Park's dresses for her former store, Immortelle, that mixed brown and turquoise [I miss you Kat :(] Turquoise ... So the color match was found.

What to wear with apple green shoes!

The Shiny Things' Mary Jane Clogs were calling to me.... Samaaaara ... so I bought them. In apple green, because I loved the color. Then they languished in my inventory because -- what goes with apple green? I ran across them in one of my futile attempts to find something in my totally out of control inventory and decided they deserved to be taken for a walk. So here's the look :)


On the top I am wearing Catt's Creations Fever Green Sweater. The heart-shaped earrings are from Earthtones in gold. The forest green skirt is the Forest Mid-thigh Skirt from SLink. The leggings are from Corduroy -- with long green undies made by me to soften the transition from legging to skirt. And at the bottom those wonderful chunky Mary Janes *sigh*

I'm pretty sure my skin is Fleur's Terre 2 in buff. The hair is ETD's Bridget in auburn burnt.
