They are RED!

I am visiting friends in Macedonia. They are at work and SL is down, so *finally* I blog!

I bought the Red Python shoes at the last Moody sale after craving them for ever so long. OK they are not the best shoes on the grid, so I'm a shoe slut. Cope!

I discovered [and fell in love with] Tomoto at the RFL Clothing Fair and bought this new dress called "summer" I think at the Fantasy Faire. It comes with two skirts, but I like the one with the yellow underskirt showing. Hair is Amrita. I couldn't find them recently so I guess they've poofed :( Earrings are the Suri from GANKED. Skin is an unreleased one from PXL Creations.

This is a mash-up with my new favorite trousers from Narwhal. The primmy bits are superb. I wish they made these in other colors. Top is an old one from First Impressions. The hair is Nantes from Tiny Bird, which I adore. Skin is Curio Breeze Mudslide 2 in Petal. Jools are from the talented hands of Jori Watler of alaMood.

Eyes as always are Poetic Colors and poses by /GEEZ/
Two very different looks for a HOT pair of shoes :)

The Not so Bond Girl Blog

When I saw this ALESSANDRA cat suit on Nadja’s blog I fell in love. So much so that I used her link to tp straight inworld to buy it.

When I put it on I felt all Bond girl and thought yeah, I’ll do the down the gun barrel thing with the pictures. Unfortunately, my PS skills are such that I failed to do it…so you see the bare shots with post editing.

Why post editing? Well, although I love the design, the cut and the textures…all absolutely stunning…I found the seams to be somewhat lacking. And yes, I mention this because I read Gogo’s blog recently and agreed with her…warts and all blogging. So with some careful post edit work the seams don’t matter, to me they don’t matter anyway on this outfit it is still stunning, but it allows you to read my honesty but see the brilliance at the same time.

I wanted a simple makeup and chose Fleur Allures Lounge 3 in truffle. The hair had to compete with the outfit but not outshine it, so *X*plosion Kayli Diamants (Onyx) with the head scarf tinted and shine added fit the bill.

Finally, the shoes. I recently purchased Maitreya Gold Esprit and am having trouble taking them off my pixels. I think Maitreya make the most perfect sculpty feet shoes on the grid.

So, even though a Bond girl I ain’t I still kept the guns.

/GEEZ/ Does Jazz Dance!

I know other folks have blogged the /GEEZ/ Jazz Dance set, but I wanted to add my two bits. As a former dancer, these are very fine dance poses indeed.

Otherwise I'm wearing the MichaMi DSN gift of Carmela Bustier in Pink, along with the Second Wave Apparel Perfect Fit Capris in Pinkstripe and the Francoise Flats in Purple from Shiny Things.

But the attention should be on the joyous poses that capture so well the energy of jazz dance!

Morea Style Meets /GEEZ/

One of the benefits of working at the RFL Clothing Fair is meeting and interacting with so many wonderful SL creators. In the case of morea Decosta my introduction came because I was pressed into service to translate for her because the Fair management needed someone to explain things in her native French. I really didn't do that much, but morea gifted me with the beautiful dresses I am sharing with you today.

First up is Collection MOREA STYLE CITY *CORALIE pearl*. The textures and drape of the shimmering fabric are a delight both in motion and standing still. Part of the style is the slightly shorter front. The G Field Ribbon Slingbacks in Salmon [minus the bows] matched perfectly. I hope that I am not alone in thinking that Cerberus Noel's shoes would be worth it at twice the tiny price of L$180. My necklace and earrings are older ones from Paper Couture; the Diamond Bow earrings and the Diamond Bee Necklace. My hair is Nantes in Copper from Tiny Bird. Skin is PXL Creations Kim SpringRose in Natural.

Next is Collection MOREA STYLE * VICTORIA CHAMPAGNE*. This dress is a stunner from the shimmering textures to the gold "sunburst fan" that encloses the upper body. Included are carefully detailed glitch pants with matching trim, gloves and a glorious gold bow. Again the textures and movement are luscious. My jewels are again Paper Couture--this time their Faceted Golden Sapphire Dangle earrings. Obviously no necklace is needed with the golden sunburst. Truth's Cameron in Copper provides an elegant foil, while PXL Creations July SpringPassion in Natural adds a note of polish to the outfit.

All poses are from Grazia Horwitz's new store, /GEEZ/ which will open after the Pose Fair. The poses will be available starting tomorrow at that fair.
