5 Gold Rings....
OK…I had to get a festive title up and there are more than 5 gold rings in what I am blogging…lol
Now, I don’t usually do this but a friend, Mel, bought an amazing piece of jewellery last night and I managed to twist her rubber arm to let me shoot and blog about it.
The piece I am talking about is !Modern Gypsy! Statement Jewellery (Pride) in gold. Traditionally an African neck adornment to signify marriage worn by girls of the Ndebele people of South Africa. Also, The Kayan tribe or Padaung tribe of the Karen people from the border region of Myanmar and Thailand start wearing neck ornaments as children to stretch the neck. Modern Gypsy have put a contemporary twist to this piece by adding matching earrings.
The necklace is modify so adjustable, the textures and colour beautiful.
Enough said…I’ll let the picture of Mel show you how elegant it looks.

Naughty but Nice
I went for a wander around Beauty Avatar…thought I haven’t been for a while lets go see what they have. I ended up in the lingerie department…nothing new about that….and right at the back they had their new releases…Wow!
The Donna lingerie is truly beautiful in its detail. The design is slightly retro but contemporary too, with the addition of chains very naughty…lol. The texturing is stunning, right down to the pull on the stockings where the garter attaches. This corset is sexy in that innocent kind of way. Here I am wearing the white version with just the choker for a touch of a darker side.
I teamed the lingerie up with ETD's Heel Strap Platforms in linen…they matched perfectly.
The skin I kept simple, Fleur’s Allure Lounge 1 in truffle, pale tone with nude lips and coal lined eyes. I wanted blonde hair to keep the whole palette pale so I chose Truth’s Evie in mirage.
Eyes are my usual Miriel ones and lashes are the usual ones from Cake.
Th..th..that’s all Folks!!

My Three 'Things'...Challenge
Sam set this blogger challenge and as I dont always follow the rules I Have bent them a little....so sorry Sam but I know you will forgive me *GRINS*.
My first is cheesy, yes, and definately not a thing in my inventory...its a who...SAMARA!! Sam is one of my closest friends both inworld and rl...she is witty, intelligent, eloquent, elegant and fun. She is my partner in crime, ie shopping and blogging, and have had some wonderful, if not at times bizarre, times. She also manages to keep my feet firmly grounded...lol...and for all this and more I love her to bits and would miss her so very much.
My second are my Miriel eyes, any colour/variety. My most missable would be the Platinum in big. Yes! I know we cant get them any more but I just cant take them off my pixels...lol.
My third are my Cake eyelashes, seperated and tintable...I just dont take them off whatever the cost...lol...and if I were to lose them they would be sorely missed.
So, there you have it...My Three 'Things'.
Nice challenge Sam, thanks!
PS. My portrait was taken by me but piled up by SMUTTY1..see it here

Three Little Things
A Bloggers Challenge
As we head into a new decade I thought it would be fun and instructive to share the 3 items in our inventory that we couldn't part with.
It was hard to choose ... let's see ... how many Last Call outfits do I own? What about my 5th & Oxford and PXL Creations skins? The dress and shoes named after me by sachi and Damen? All of Truth's recent hair? Miriel's no longer available eyes? My Oracul AO? My collection of too many houses?
I reined myself in and decided to pick just three "little things" that I would REALLY miss.
They are:
Celestial Studios Deviant Nation eyelashes
Poetic Colors Frozen Night eyes
ETD's Patricia in auburn burnt

Some Day my Dream will Come...
First, apologies for my absence in blogging…rl has been rather busy of late and doesn’t look like letting up any.
I feel no shame in blogging Nicky Ree’s work as she releases clothes of real quality and when she dropped the Snow Dream in snow blue on me I thought Christmas has come early…and yes, I know I am slow blogging this gown.
As usual Nicky provides plenty of layers and options so that you can wear this gown in your own unique way. When wearing the full ensemble, with crown and scarf, one cannot help but make an entrance to wherever you go. I chose to wear the system skirt with the kick skirt and train options. I think this looks both stunning and elegant. The crown and scarf are wonderful in their textures and frame you in fluff…lol. Without the crown and scarf this dress is still beautiful and would grace any winter event.
To set the dress off I first chose to wear [Muse] Another Fundraiser Celestine Skin 1, a charity skin I picked up almost 2 years ago now. It gave the whole look Narnia Snow Queen feel. Then I thought about being merely mortal and chose Fleur Allure Truffle Smudged 2 to give that simple yet elegant look.
Hair is from ETD, Lorraine 2, white, and shoes were AC Sasy Chic l'Air.
I am not sure when I will get a chance to blog again before Christmas so…
Merry Christmas to all you beautiful people who follow this blog and to those whole stumble upon it.

Elaine's monthly post: Foot for thought
Since they were released, I've been having mixed feelings about prim feet. The basic idea of getting rid of the ugly default toes seems good, but after the appearance of prim feet a new problem arose -- the phenomenon known as Frankenfeet -- which, in my opinion, is even uglier. My first shoes with prim feet were a freebie and a nightmare (I won't call names, though); the base colour of the prim was too dark and I never succeeded in matching the feet with the exact shade of my skin. But having seen increasingly acceptable feet around, I decided to go to the shoe expo, get some demos, and make the leap. Here are my results.
Top left are Tied Hunter in Bold, by Heart and Sole. They are not operated via HUD, but through blue popup menus. However, the out-of-the box skintone was quite close to mine and it was a pretty straightforward fix -- besides the RGB that I can't make much sense of, there is a "lighter" and a "darker" button, which worked well for me. The downside is that I couldn't find a way to remove the toe ring, as the shoes are no-mod. On the other hand, they are quite reasonably priced (around 400L) and look extremely sexy.
Top right are Kalnins' Conqueror. Being a Gold Card member and subscriber, I only paid about 225L for them with all the discounts, so I didn't even grab the demos before buying, as I am familiar with their usual level of quality. The shoes come with a HUD that is reasonably easy to operate -- it has three tabs: one for colour combinations, a second one for skin tones and the last one for resizing and extra options (foot light, sounds, and the like). The second and third tab worked great, but I must say I was a bit disappointed with the first one: happy as I am to be able to choose between thousands of colour combinations on the shoe, I missed having less flashy nail options. Also, I'm not too convinced with the build of the toes which, compared to others, look a bit too sausagey for my taste. Ah well.
Bottom left are Zara in Steel01 from Kitties Lair. A special pack was sold at the fair, at 490L for two pairs (pink and black) but I just loved this colour and decided to get it; after all, a single pack for 390L wasn't bad (at least not before I went broke). These also include a HUD; however, it was a nightmare for me to find a workaround. As you can see in the picture, in fact, I gave up before finding the exact skintone, because I got tired of adding and subtracting red, green and blue to the four basic skintones. Having said that, the nail options are really good, and both the shoes and feet are really well built, so I'll definitely give it another go sometime.
Bottom right are the Maitreya Gold Shanti, in Snow Leopard (an expo special colour). What can I say? Onyx LeShelle keeps outdoing herself. The HUD comes with several skin tone presets, which save you from the RGB nightmare (if you want to, you can go there, but the thing is you don't have to). Plus, the pack includes a notecard with the settings for the most popular skins, including my sunkissed Tuli, so I just followed the instructions, et voilĂ , fine-tuning done in all of 10 seconds. Also, the toes are completely different from all the others I've seen -- perfectly shaded, more realistic... my favourites so far. On the negative side is the price, over 900L, but seeing the results, I went back and bought Esprit too!
Finally, in the centre are the SLink Jolie Pied Achillia Gladiator in tan, the only footed-flats I found. SLink was the first store to offer standalone bare feet and I think their work is quite remarkable; from what I've heard, they've made serious developments since they started. The HUD was the first one I braved, so I wasn't too sure how to proceed -- it seemed easy, but it wasn't tremendously so. At 775L apiece, I'd say these shoes are worth their price, reasonably well-built and generally very wearable.
On all pictures I used a pose from the Foot Focus set (I think it was 09), from Long Awkward Pose, available at the expo.
Now, let me get back to unpacking the boots... in the meantime, you can check the full-sized pictures here.

A Mashup for a November Wednesday
I bought the Magnifico Manolo boots in brown at the shoe fair--then the challenge began :) I decided to go for more subdued tones so as not to outshine the rich brown of the studded boots. So I am wearing the Isabeaux leather pants in brown from LF Fashion and a turtleneck in brown from the no-longer existing Frangipani Designs. My jewelry is the very 20s feeling Reversal of Fortune from Dark Mouse. Hair is Zoe in Copper from Truth and I'm wearing PXL Creations' July Spring Passion is Natural.

Can you Adam'n' Eve it?
What a fabulous corset and knickers…leather and zipped. This undies set by Adam n Eve is wonderful in both design and textures. Took me a while to unpack it but when I did I knew I wanted to blog it.
All I needed to compliment the Zip it Gorgeous were the boots I got for my rl birthday, inworld. Bax Prestige Boots Black Leather are perfect with their changeable zips I could match the underwear!

Rock and fall
(comes out from under her hiding rock and notices the temperature)
Oh wow... it's not summer any more! Not even in Spain! How on Earth did that happen? Must be global warming. Right, so I'd better save that bikini blog post for next year (Ha! yet again) and show something more appropriate for the season...
(rummages through inventory)

Yes, that's much more like it. The central piece of the outfit is the DuffelCoat in beige from Aoharu, truly primlicious in terms of detail. It includes not only a prim hood and prim buttons, but the lower part is also sculpted and it has pockets! Pockets! I think I'm not taking it off until spring. I had a bit of a conundrum as to what to pair it with, but freebies came my way to make my life easier: the black turtleneck sweater is a group gift from *COCO* (one of many, well worth sacrificing a slot to grab the whole lot from the gift wall at the main store), and I found the scarf, also free, almost accidentally while browsing XStreet. It's from a place called Edge Grafica (totally unknown to me, but hey, I live under a rock) and it's copy/mod, so it lends itself for nice adjusting (I removed the back flexi prims so they wouldn't interfere with the hood). And I totally dig the safety pin.
In keeping with the theme, I rescued the Destroyed Wash jeans from Celestial Studios, an old classic of mine, paired with with the Unisex Classic Moccas from Armidi Gisaci (I read Milla's blog from under my rock, thank goodness for that, and thank goodness she's back or I'd be barefoot). The hair is (still) Fri.day's Cassie in jealous red, the skin is (still) Tuli's Hope in Onyx (the september picks reward), the Muted Hazel eyes and the Natural lashes are (still) Miriel's, and the poses are (still) from [LAP]. Some things never change.
Ah yes, the Tigers Eye earrings (which you can't really see, but I swear they were there the last time I looked) are from the RH Engel Jewelry Sahara collection.
Check the full outfit details here.

A side you didn't see before..
And you thought you knew this girl? You ain't seen nothing yet! *grins*
But seriously, I do believe everyone has two sides to their character. A bit like a public one and a more private one. Or a light and dark side. In best case they stand together well as a yin and yang.
And speaking of yin&yang - yes, I'm going somewhere :-) - Lion Jonesford just designed the perfect skins to display that diversity in character.
Her new line is called Yin & Yang. Yin being the softer, dress up styles and Yang the dramatic makeups. They are both available in the 5 skintones with each twenty different makeups, making it possible to find the perfect look for every mood.
I went ahead and choose my 6 favorites, which you can see in the pictures here.
Yes, Lion has done us proud again.
And she's becoming bigger and bigger. Check out the november 2009 issue of the "The Best of SL" magazine, page 114. You can read all about the adventurous girl!
For those who have never had the pleasure to meet the lovely lady herself, this is her infront of her store logo.
You go girl!!
Hugs, Noena

A Long Wait for July ...
Hart Larsson of PXL Creations has finally released his July skins. Why so long? Because Hart is a perfectionist. And with July he has nigh well achieved it! When I was given a peek at a beta back in July I was totally hooked on Kim and didn't think July would work for me, but whatever magic took place, July is now my November skin:) I'm showing you three of the makeups in the Natural tone, the one that suits me best. I am a total sucker for PXL's Spring makeups, particularly the rose ones with soft shadow drawn out to the sides of the eyes. I also am addicted to Hart's freckles. One thing I admire in July is that the collarbonre is just in the right balance with the face. Sometimes you have a beautiful face parked on wire hanger collarbones --not here!
The body continues the lovely consistency. I wanted you to see the bum in the center and the push-up cleavage [in my case pushing up not much!] on the right. Cleavage seems to be the new black and PXL does it well.
I'm wearing Blowpop's scrummy undies, Yvette in Burgundy and my hair is Exiles Fastball in Pyre. Otherwise it's all PXL all the way :)

Supporting Content Creators
There are two ogranizations today that are supporting Content Creators through a boycott. While it did work with lettuce, I'm not convinced this is the way to go here.
Of the two I recommend to you Step Up! as their sim is full of educational material as well as stunning art exhibits by many well-known SL artists. Here's your limo: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Toor/157/176/30
For me, though, the best response to content theft, other than following the procedures in place, is to BUY. So I did. I went and bought hyasynth Tiramisu's newest goody, Gloomy in blue today. Other content creators I am wearing are Digit Darkes, Violet Voltaire, Poetic Colors and Shiny Things. Poses by Penny Dreadful Arcade.
There are many choices for supporting content creators. This is mine.

Cute as a Pumpkin
The post title is a take-off on a phrase I heard often when I was growing up and now in Second Life, "You're cute as a button." I had to take it in RL, but I get asked in SL, why, since you CAN be taller in here, in fact you can be anything you want to be, why are you short? Well to be honest I wouldn't know how to handle all those extra pixels:) So I'm short inworld and you use the aforementioned phrase at your own risk.
So here are two pumpkin-themed outfits based on the G Field Halloween dollarbie. The outfit on the right cost L$2 at the most, excluding hair and skin The [chuculet] crocodile brown earrings were L$1 I think. The "tights" are the burnt orange cords from the Celestial Studios' "Week of Love" a year or so back. And the boots are a subscribo gift for Maitreya, the Soho Boots in Pumpkin. I really like the Long Sweater from G Field, with its system skirt and large buttoned collar. [See there ARE buttons in this post.]
On the left the A+A feathers&bullets necklace has bumped the collar and I've added the new Zaara Nishar leggings in pumpkin, oooooops "Tangerine." The necklace was made for someone with more of a continental shelf than I have so I had to wiggle it around a bit to sit right. And the leggings ... the turquoise picks up enough of the green from the belt and buttons that I like the look. All together the leggings and earring added about L$360 to the outfit -- not bad at all! My skin is Jolie from Dutch Touch, Dew in Cream and Cameron in Pumpkin is from Truth
I'm one of those people that think Pumpkin is a terrific fall color, not just for Halloween. So "cute as a pumpkin" it will be :)

One-Offs
Trying to get rid of a bit of blogging backup here :)
The first one is more of a "Two-Off." I wanted to show off the Grim Bros Rose Shoes in all their glorious detail. They are available in MANY colors and the price, at L$277, means I will come back for more. The steampunk detail is softened by the curlicues AND the gears move! The blur in Annyka Bekker's fishnet stockings is NOT her fault--I was too impatient to let it rez fully. Her fishnets are the very best on the grid I wager. I'm wearing various parts of a ~silent sparrow~ lucky chair outfit. The pieces are recolors from hya's Gutter Glitter and Scraps collections, including the wonderful tattoo. I'm wearing one of the Audrey Little Miss skins in Medium and my hair is ETD Patricia in Auburn Burnt.
One the right is a Kuri Style dress available for L$2. I can't even begin to tell you how wonderful the top is and how beautifully the layered skirt moves. For L$2 go find out for yourself. It does come with a leopard shrug, which didn't suit this look. On my feet are the Pinup shoes in Grey Python from Stiletto Moody. My hair is Chelsea Hotel from Tiny Bird --a 50 Linden Friday purchase.
On the left is Dutch Touch's new Jolie skin, the Dew makeup in Cream. I love the freckles -- they look very realistic. This is the first of the Dutch Touch skins that hasn't overwhelmed my avi and I love it! Hair is Elizabeth 2 from Truth and I'm wearing bits from Laila and Ebba by MichaMi. Earrings are from [chuculet].

It's a Kani Halloween!
My Kani Bunny always seems to come out on Halloween--must be something about the ears...
Anyway, I'm wearing DCNY's freebie Halloween dress and some great hair from last year from Dejavu. And my Kani is by Uchi Desmoulins of Avatars - Curious Inc.
I wore this outfit to a great dance at Angel's Club on Cape Suzette, but I have another outfit for the party at Club Cutlass later. Hit me up online if you want a taxi :)

Oh What a Difference a Filtercam Makes!
I had always wondered about Mechanized Life's Filtercam, but assumed it would be too complicated for my small pixel brain. How wrong I was!
Codebastard Redgrave was kind enough to offer a Halloween version to the bloggers on Plurk. So I asked [nicely I hope:)] and it was MINE. And folks, it couldn't be more easy-peasy. Even Sam in a blonde moment had no trouble.
Since I was supposed to be doing three other things I just did a quick shoot at my beach house. No commentary is necessary. The Filtercam adds atmosphere to an otherwise dull shot.
Under the blood I am wearing Adam n Eve's Saucy lingerie, sixty-nine's Model hair [includes the pose] and a new 5th & Oxford Little Miss Audrey skin in Medium, probably #6.

Thank You Ginny!
Two years ago today we lost the person behind the SL avatar, Ginny Talamasca. She was known to most of us only as the creator of the Dazzle and then, the Last Call label in SL. I first discovered Last Call through my friend and fellow blogger, Fury Stapleton, who took me to the first big LC sale in June 2007. I was all of 2 months old and still feeling my way. My earliest purchases bear the date of June 4, 2007.
After that, and particularly after I started work next door at ETD, Last Call was where I went for that special dress. It took me a while to appreciate the line she was drawing between chic, elegant and a wee bit edgy and even a tad slutty, but always classy. In the end I "got it."
In memory of Ginny and her work, which, despite several advances in SL technology, still looks as fabulous as when they were first made, I'm presenting 2 sets of photos. The first is of dresses I blogged before--and, sadly, my first blogpost was at the last sale and my second was from the skin fair this year. The second is of some of my earliest purchases, before the final sale in 2008.

Happy Anniversary to Us!
Actually it's tomorrow that is the 2 year anniversary of this blog, but never too early to celebrate!
At the beginning it was just me, but over time Noena Merlin, Fury Stapleton & Elaine Lisle joined in, adding their unique voices and skills to The 3 Fashionteers. The name has changed twice since the blog's beginning, but we have always sought to both edify and entertain, while giving our honest opinions.
So in hono[u]r of us all, here are the 3 first photos each posted on the blog. [If you think I'm going to post my first miserable photo you are wrong!] It's been a pleasure not only to be their friends, but to have the privilege of meeting each of them in RL. I can tell you that they are just as wonderful in RL as they are in SL, if not better :)
So here's to 2 years of blogging and friendship! And hopefully many more.

Snuggling in for the winter...
It's getting d**n cold here now, and even with the sun out, the brisk wind is a not so gentle reminder of what's to come. So I've been wandering around my beach house wearing legwarmers LOL.
But it's all an excuse to wear Elinor from DCNY. I seldom shop there, but I fell for the colorful bird on the sweater and the fluttery and a bit ragged skirt. I would have preferred a prim belt to the one on the system layer, but that's a small beef. My earrings are Miel's 50 Linden Friday ones from yesterday, which are perfect with this cold season look. Stocking are Ajour in Mud from Mimikri. The big story are the legwarmers though. I tried everywhere. I had a friend ask on Fashion Emergency [a casualty of the 25 group limit], but finally I bought the ones at Ducknipple. But alas they didn't match, so I copied the right ankle prim and plopped it on my left ankle and edited. And yes, those are Stiletto Moody's Bitch Booties peeking out.
The main events are Truth's Cameron hair in Auburn. It's one of the most flattering styles for me in a long while. Same deal with the new N2 Elizabeth skin from the most generous, Annyka Bekkers. I'll show you more soon, but this is the Granny Apple 2.2, that is, the second makeup in Tone B. The light smattering of face freckles are a real delight.
I fell in love with Linnea from Angel Dessous on the feed. I struggled over the color in the store, but in the end the Beige won out because the sparkly parts on the belt and sleeve were more subtle and it reminded me of snow. It comes with the long socks, as well as many other variations on the neckline, including a hoodie version. Maitreya's Bloom boots in white came out of hiding to complete the look. Hair is fri.day's Allison in Scornful Red, skin is my new standby, Kim Spring Rose in Natural. My earrings are Ice Queen from Random Calliope, a present from my fellow blogger, Noena.

Lil Miss Blacklace Witch
Halloween is a time for costumes and fun. So when Blacklace released a limited edition lingerie for Halloween I went and grabbed it.
It’s a burnt orange camisole and knickers…the textures are fantastic and the execution simple, it is all system layers. Sexy and spooky!
I then decided that there was only 1 pair of shoes to go with my intended outfit. So, I popped over the Grim Bros to buy the spider queen ghostly heels. Wonderfully simple shoes with extraordinary details of spiders and cobwebs all over the shoes and heels.
The skin was a thinking matter. I have a lot of Halloween skins but none that would compliment the underwear. I then remembered 5th & Oxfords Lil Miss 6 in pale. Heavy lidded eyes with burnt orange lipstick…perfect!
The eyes were an inventory search and trying on various ‘oddities’. I settled for Ruin’s Gemstone Eyes. This just completed my look.
I love, love, love Halloween….Mwahahahaha!

Tone on Tone: What took you so long?
When I went back to get the Zaara Larin skirt in black I knew, with the season changing where I live, that a cami wasn't going to work. So off to DeLa I went and FINALLY bought their turtleneck in charcoal. Who knows why it took me so long. The little decoration on the neck lightens it to go with the silky Zaara skirt. Both items are examples of well done primmy parts. Stocking are Swirl from *Sheer*. My shoes are Adam n Eve's Babii in Black, another example of an item I had been resisting for some lunatic reason.

A Lovely Little Miss
I picked up 5th & Oxford’s contribution to 50 Linden Fridays a few weeks back. I eventually got round to quickly trying the lingerie on but it was so quick it barely registered. Then when I got dropped the lingerie and slips it took me at least a week to open the folder. As I did I was also dropped the new skins, mules and hair band/veils.
This was indeed incentive to try them on and do them justice. I so predictably picked the Little Miss Lingerie in black try on. The bra and knickers are, to me, totally retro. They have that sturdy, pin up feel about them. Well made with great design and fantastic textures they will be a definite favourite of mine.
I then went about choosing a skin from the Audrey Little Miss range. Obviously my choice was medium but which make up? The eyes have cat eyeliner, again giving that retro feel. The lip colour range from nude to dark red, with even an orange shade present. In the end I chose Little Miss 6 for the dramatic deep red lips, blue eyeshadow and black kohl eyeliner. As usual with CJ’s body and Roslins make ups these skins are wonderful.
To top the look of I wore, in turn, both the Little Miss Headband and Little Miss Veil….a mid 20th Century look. Both the bow and the veil have been carefully done. The veil especially is divine in its delicacy. Also, the Little Miss Mules in black are sweet with a fluffy marabou feather ball topping them off for that boudoir moment.
Roslin and CJ have returned with style and quality with the 5th & Oxford Little Miss range. I hope they have continuing success and many more brilliant creations.

Flight of Fancy
It all started with a picture Aemilia Case posted on plurk -- a hairstyle with a witch's hat. I asked for a version without a hat and she said it was coming. And here it is -- Twig Snap in Red Spice.
In IMs with Aems I suggested it looked like "cootie garages" and that it needed birds to make it complete, since it resembled a coiled bird's nest. I ended up attaching the HPMD* bluebird to my chin and editing ... and yes it's one of those that ^chirps^. I was able to make it small enough to nestle in my hair. I love the stray flying bits in the style as well as the slightly ragged-edged bangs.
Continuing the theme of flight I then added the *BOOM* Aranel's Wings (flared). These wings are beautifully made. I particularly like the bit of glow around the edges as well as the heart "plumb line."
The rest of my outfit I have blogged before: belt from Dark Mouse, MichaMi's Laila top in Cream, LF Fashion Isabeau leather pants in brown, J's ankle boots in sand and PXL Creation's Grace Natural cateyes/rose lips with freckles. My tattoo, barely visible, is the hart, thistle & thorn tattoo from ~silent sparrow~.

Falling into Fall
Two mix and matches for Fall.
GField has released two wonderful short boots for fall, one with a strap and metal closure, called Emma and the other with a ribbon bow with a second interior color, called Anna. The latter were the inspiration for this outfit, the *GF* Short Ribbon Boots "Anna" in Brown. I tried to pick up the pink elsewhere in the outfit, but it overwhelmed, so please count the skin peeking through the Mimikri Ajour tights :) I've blogged everything else here except the top, Lady of the Pins from Ki2, and the jewelry, Caroline Apollo's turtles that I got at the jewelry fair.
The star of the second outfit is the *Fishy Strawberry* Cuddle Maxipull in Brick. I added the belt from Dark Mouse's discount shop [tp in the main store], leather Isabeau pants in brown from LF Fashion and J's short ankle boots in Sand finish off the outfit.
Skins in both images are Curio's Breeze 2 Mudslide 1 & 2 in Petal. Hair is from Truth and Kyoko's Hair Shop *White Well*.

Truth in Doodles
One such is *DNR* Ms Doodles in Chocolate. As is normal Nicky provides various ways to wear this gown. The tulip top and high waistband are standard with any combination. However, the two system skirts provided, one short and one long, along with a full, open fronted flexi skirt mean the gown can be warn in several ways. As a whole the dress is simple and elegant. The design, colours and material used means it is also fun and contemporary.
I paired it up with two recent purchases…TRUTH’s Evie in seaspray and FM Forget Me Knot Pearl Set in Cream. The hair giving me a hint of Monroe with its short ,‘tamed’ wild waves and the jewellery giving the look that extra touch of elegance.
To finish I chose Fleur Allure Truffle Audacious 1 skin that picks up the pink of the gown in the make-up and ETD d'Orsay Stilettos (Brown) to compliment the chocolate in the gown.
I am really pleased with this look, even if I am blonde…lol.
I hope to bring you more of Nicky’s work…new and old…in future posts.
